"Will it be Running or Wretling?"
its funny how this thing can get spun into many variations.
Funny how great movement is now called "running", movement requires stamina and speed to back it up. If good movement is running to you then your boxing knowledge is garbage.

If you can't see why Mayweather is killing this sport than your knowledge is garbage.
And there is a big difference between being a defensive master and a runner (RJJ is first for example and PBF second)

Roy was never a defensive master at all. His defense consisted of staying as far away from his opponent as possible and then leaping halfway across the ring and firing quick combos. That was his gift.

So you're saying that Mayweather's defense is basically "running", Corey Spinks style?, if yes then you need to watch more of his fights. Mayweather does move but he pummels his opponents while doing so, just like RJJ did. How the hell is Mayweather killing the sport when his last fight was the biggest boxing fight of this era that attracted people from all over the world?, he made this fight happen didn't he?, accept to move up and accept all of Oscar's demands to make this fight happen. A man who's killing the sport wouldn't have done that, not to forget that he's looking to make another major fight by fighting Hatton now, how is that killing the sport?, please explain.

I've called Roy a defensive master couse he was nearle impossible to hit - that's defense for me

PPV numbers were so high only thanks to DLH. He is generating those numbers, not Floyd. DLH vs Mayorga were about 900 000 = Floyd's three last fights :hi:

Still, in the end Floyd made it happen and that was great for boxing, case closed. A man who's "killing boxing" would have avoided it.

Every single boxer is doing this for money, you think the fat shit in your avatar will fight for pennies?, didn't he avoid fighting both Klitschkos(the same Klitschkos he talked trash about in every single interview) for money?, he killed boxing right there then. :hi:

He "went out of his way" to help make the fight happen becuz it was the biggest $$$ fight for his greedy ass that could be made. All he cares about is his bank account. Not proving to the world who's the best out there at his weight.

The best at Welterweight at the time was the undisputed champion who beat Zab Judah, Baldomir. He fought him and beat him, end of story. Then moved up to make a mega-fight that attracted millions and put boxing back on the map again, not to forget that is was his first fight at the weight with Oscar having all the advantages according to the contract which Floyd didn't care one bit about and signed. That's someone that is HELPING boxing. Funny how you talk about "Killing boxing" with a Golota picture in your signature.

Floyd is killing boxing because no one has been good enoough to beat him in 38 fights?
Floyd is killing boxing because he dosen't sell as many tickets as Hatton or ODLH?
Floyd is killing boxing because he's a loud mouthed fuckhead?
Highly doubtful, one man can ever kill boxing. Floyd Mayweather most certainly is not killing boxing. The simple fact that he has more haters than fans, dosen't mean he's the Antichrist, for fucks sake.

And what's wrong with making money?, didn't RJJ make the most of money he could, don't all boxers do that?
Money is a HUGE part of the business, you think those fighters will fight if money wasn't involved?, you think they'll fight for "Glory" and then go back home with absolutely nothing to support their families with?, common sense here, just use your brains or compare that with your situation. Will you work for 10 dollars a month just because you're working with childhood friends?

You're living in a fantasy world.
Floyd wants to fight with Oscar for the second time, he knows Oscar is past it now = easy money.
Great boxers should earn a lot of money but why not earn milions in fights with best in the division(s)? Cotto, Hatton, Margarito?

Definitely not "Easy money" when the first fight was close anyway. I don't see why Lewis wasn't bashed on for refusing to fight Vitali Klitschko in a rematch but considered giving Mike Tyson a rematch. Wasn't that easy money too?
I do admit that he wants more money that's why he picked DLH again but I can't blame him there, if you had the opportunity to make millions again you would've went for it straight away, in the end you want to think about your future too. Now that this fight won't happen he's going for Hatton, would you call that "easy money" too?, or a fight that would murder boxing?, as far as I know all he's considering are fights that'll attract more viewers and make boxing better.

Anyone that says that if they were in PBF's shoes they would not have went after De La Hoya loses all credibility whatsoever.

Floyd is great for boxing, it was wonderful watching him humiliate Oscar. He did it without footwork at time, just sat on the ropes and used purely upperbody movement. Beautiful.

I love when people say certain fighters are "killing boxing"
Yeah it has nothing to do with HBO multi-fight contracts, promoter greed, alphabet organizations, the mainstream turning its back on boxing, lack of sponsors, globalization (actually that's a good thing but people are too much looking at it from an American POV)..
One fight or fighter isn't going to save or kill boxing.

Oh as opposed to RJJ?
Benn, Eubank, Watson, Collins, Calzaghe, McClellan and DM.
5 out of the 6 campaigning in what most consider his best weight class.
No Hopkins rematch, No Toney rematch, just a bunch of hopelessly overmatched opponents.
I'll give him credit if he fights Hatton but he should want this kind of fight in the first place.
He wanted it right after Hatton beat Kostya and Hatton's own trainer said that Hatton needs more fights to be ready for Mayweather and Floyd wasn't going to wait for him to be ready, he moved up and took care of other stuff.

People kill me when they give Oscar all the credit in their fight...of course Oscar was the major attraction...BUT...what really made the fight was that Oscar played the typical good guy and Floyd played the BAD GUY role PERFECT! PLUS they PROMOTED the fight like crazy on t.v magazine everywhere it was crazy.
