Make your decision. Remember strictly power, nothing more. Anyone who wants to vote for someone else, PLEASE SPECIFY IN YOUR POST, AND I WILL TALLY AT THE END. E.g. Cintron, Valero ect.

Vic is the shit with his left hand. I gets scare for his opponent when he throws his punches. He is just mean. Without power he is NOTHING. He is like a Mini Tyson.

Sorry for any typos.... Close candidates included Ponce De Lon, Berrio, Briggs and others mentioned in the original thread. Only 10 options guys. Actually just realised I totally forgot about cintron. If you want to vote for him just put it in your post and I will tally it up at the end.

Really can't go wrong. I chose Pavlik...

Rafael Marquez has proven his PFP punching power against top competition time and time again so Im going with him..

I think Rafael throws a mean one but he is more accureate than hurtful.

When Vic fights, the obvious thing you notice is that he put 100 and 50 percent in all of his punches, so i think hands down p4p he throws the meanest punch. His not too smart offense wise but damn when he lands his opponents became passive as hell and he gets away fighting one handed. If that doesn't spell power I don't know what is. Pavlik and Cotto is close though.

WHat about DE LEON it seems that everytime he connects with that left hand his opponents go to sleep. That power is scary. Thats the only reason he is in the top of the bantamweight division because his boxing skills arent so great but just give him one oppening and your going down.

I think Cintron is noticably more powerful than Cotto.

And another thing... i forgot the poor soul's name who got put in a coma after fighting Vic and he did damn good in running away and block Vic's shots for what 10 rounds... it was just brutal.

I disagree that it is noticably more powerful. Cintron has more powerful straight punches, but Cotto's hooks are very powerful. Cintron at range can get a lot of power simply due to leverage on those long arms, but the way Cotto turns those hooks in close quarters is vicious.

I forgot if it was Heriberto Ruiz or Peter Frissina but did you see the uppercut Rafael landed on of these guys?? He was down on the cards too before exploding with that uppercut from hell and the moment it landed, it was over...

Marquez proved his power against TIm Austin, Johnson, Pastrana, Mabuza, and Vasquez..

Marquez got a huge punch don't get me wrong but his opponents doesn't crumble with fear like the opponents that Vic has batter. Vic is not by any means of a sharp shooter like Raphel but his opponent shuts down and gets bullied from downright fear. A typical Vic match is him throwing the finisher punch constantly and his opponents running for their lives.

Definitely, I agree.. :thumbsup

Cintron is a showstopper while Cotto is more of a grinder..
Not always. He hit Marg with plenty of big shots and didn't really phase him. He has KO'd plenty of bums for sure, but Estrada took a tonne of bombs also from him. I think they simply have much different styles. Cotto when he is allowed to land is very powerful. Look against Corley, Sosa, Pinto, Quintana ect. His KO record in world title fights is unreal. He definitely hits hard. To say he is a grinder insinuates that he is a fighter like Hatton or Diaz.

where's the option for wladimir??? :huh

one punch icings have got to be considered surely? i mean, what about that quadruple left hook which ko'ed austin.

yessss, austin isn't a great fighter, but that's not the point. austin, chin wise has been able to compete with the now WBO champ, and other solid fighters over the years, and NOBODY put him down like that, with the left hand only in 2 rounds.

put up wladimir as im sure a lot of people would agree!
