Nice.

Really tempted to bet a lot more on Boston, but they're gonna be playing in LA.

I know that they are good enough to win on the road, but game 1 of the finals, not so sure.

Good odds, though.

I think Perk is one technical foul away from being automatically ejected and missing a whole game (you're allowed 7 in the postseason, he's at 6 after his previously assigned seventh was reviewed and rescinded by the league).

So that could become a factor...unless he would still need a second tech in Game 1 to be ejected, but would still have to sit out Game 2 with the 1st (officially 7th of playoffs) after conceivably playing out the rest of the game after picking it up. I don't know... :huh

Yeah the odds make it tough for a Laker fan (like me) to bet, hell 2-1 odds on Boston is damn good, but I don't care if they are 50-1 I don't have the heart to place that bet. Buck Foston!

I sometimes miss these kinds of threads.

Thanks.

No, I would have seen it and fixed it. Really not that big a deal and didn't require anybody else touching it. If a day had passed, that'd be one thing but the game had JUST ended. Cool your jets and be a little more patient. :yep

If the payout date was set up correctly, it would not of been settled....as a moderator of this forum I ability to pay out the event when needed, and if I see a reason to do it...I shall.

I'm going into surgery and will be back sometime Friday.

Payouts will therefore be sometime Friday, and that's about as specific as I can get at the moment. If you don't want to wait until then to receive your earnings, don't bet.

Everything on Boston , Ray Allen went like 0 out of 13 and it was still very close game . I think Celtics get it done today .

Nope. The Finals are on a Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday rotation, not every other day. :good

Game 5 is running up against the True Blood Season 3 premiere. :fire :err

I like the Over and lakers looks good.

FYI, people who are picking Boston w/o the spread are dumbies. Makes no sense that'll you make more with "Boston -2.5." It's also vice_versa for lakers.

That sucks. I was looking forward to watching it yesterday (Saturday) because I wasn't planning on doing anything.

I saw the 4th quarter in games 3 and 4 this series, which was the first time I watched a portion of an NBA playoff game since Jordan retired.

I was actually going to watch the whole game were it on today.

Since it's now going to be competing with True Blood, I supposed there's a chance I may catch the fourth quarter again.

I just asked you in another thread, but in case you missed it, what's your track record for v-cash in this series? You been betting big every game? Or just on the right ones?

No wonder Charlie Z jumped on the Lakers bandwagon after saying he hated them and didn't like Kobe. Both he and Odom have had hideous women they've dated/married/were engaged to :D

Celtics got this.

boston's taken away the lakers' hearts. they're gonna play hungry again tomorrow night and finish this series. i wasn't so sure a minute ago, but i just got a good feeling.

the only issue that i'm seeing is that the LA refs probably aren't gonna let them play like they did in boston last game. that could pose a big problem for the celtics.

IB does not need a game 7!!!! :fire

I have ticked to the Red Sox-Diamondbacks game on Thursday, which would be at the exact same time as a game 7 in the NBA Finals. Some asshole at Fenway Park is sure to blurt out spoilers before I can get home and watch on DVR.

GO CELTICS! END IT IN 6!!!! :fire

Kendrick Perkins has a torn ACL and partially torn PCL - will likely be out through 2010/2011 season. :err

This is the same injury sustained by Leon Powe (and yours truly) - it is no joke.

Well they were sputtering along through 3 at a brisk pace but the high speed running took its toll as they threw a couple of rods at the end.

Great series and effort from boston......it's a shame the final two games had to play out the way they did.....they were just outmaned and out gunned....I'm surprised they did that well with the rebounding numbers being so one sided.....they did the best they could with the talent they had in the line up and as a true fan I can be happy with there effort.

Agreed. Bid farewell to Ray Allen, though, after his atrocious Finals performance aside from the game where he hit 8 three pointers, he's gone.

He still performed well enough from the AS break through the post-season at both ends of the floor (and busted out enough old-school Shuttlesworth slashing moves) that whoever snatches him up, he will get paid better than his fast approaching ceiling probably dictates. Good for him and his family. Thanks for the banner and the memories, Ray. :good
