It's usually the case when a notable modern fighter gets a pretty decent win.Somebody drags there name up in the old timers section,pits him against a fighter of the past and is unanimously favoured against and has his entire career and abilities are called into question in the process.


I genuinely think Qawi would rip a hole right through him,though.Qawi's too technically sound and elusive a pressure fighter for Tarver.I can just envision Tarver continually pawing with the right,trying to bait Qawi in and set up his own counters,and just getting repeatedly nailed by Qawi's own right hand counters.

I feel like Tarver is getting underrated again. Qawi would decision him. Tarver was a really tough guy and would never go down easy and the thing is the only way Qawi would win is by walking Tarver down and using that pressure and Tarver would certainly use his reach and ability to his own advantage. I have Qawi winning a clear decision

Which I'd agree with but it's still the same issue of dimensions/size. Qawi is still a 5'5 midgit fighting a huge 6'3 southpaw, with fast hands, a potent jab and plenty of power in that straight left. That's just too much range for Qawi to get past

No it doesn't but Tarver has plenty of tools to get the job done, Tarver's underrated, he has his weaknesses but he's at his best when fighters come to him, especially midgets and Tarver is physically a monster at the weight
