Winky is too big and too skilled. The determining factor would be that jab.

Pimp you already know Winky is way to big and strong for PBF so why do you asked such questions, besides PBF was able to beat Oscar despite being smaller because he was a better boxer but he is not a better boxer than Winky.
I ask now because Winky's legs are gone. Not so much the case when the fight was being talked about.

Winky easily.

A good jab can trouble Floyd at times. As shown by when Oscar used it (among other fights).

On top of that, Winky would be the BEST defensive fighter Floyd has ever faced by LEAPS and BOUNDS.

Winky would also outwork him.

Plus, Winky has shown to be more comfortable with that weight.

This isnt a good matchup for Floyd at all.

PBF would win because his defense is just as good as wright and he is a way smarter fighter than Wright is.

A prime Winky would be too much I agree but now Winky's legs wouldn't allow him to beat someone with as much movement as PBF.

Tho many people are overrating Winky based on what he has done in the past. I think many are underrating him after his performance vs Hopkins.

Noone looks good vs Bernard. There is not a soul that would. Winky is a much better fighter than he showed in that fight.

That jab, the size difference, the defense (again, Floyd has never seen a defense as good as that...Winky has), the output, the ring intelligence, etc.

He would be too much for Floyd. Its not a good matchup. Even at this age.

Plus, who knows how Mayweather would look at 154???

Floyd has a better and more complete defense than Wright. But you're right, he has never fought anyone with that kind of defense.

And Mayweather-Oscar was at 154 lbs. Floyd won a belt there.

Who knows how Floyd will look vs a natural 154lber.

More to the point of what I meant. Oscar was a smaller fighter who has worked his way up to 154. His best weights are beneath that, I think we can all agree with that. Winky's best weight was easily 154.

Floyd would beat Winky. Whenever Winky covered up with that peek-a-boo defense, Floyd would go to work on him. By the time he goes to hit Floyd, Floyd will be able to get out of the way. Winky uses his jab alot, but Floyd has a better jab, and Winky is not even a big puncher. Shane almost beat Winky in that second fight. Winky is old, slower, and doesn't have much power. Floyd takes this fight via decision.

Winky seems like he would be too weight drained at this point honestly, I'd say Floyd, even though I'd usually pick Winky. I have a picture of both of them with their shirts off hanging on the ceiling above my bed. Depends on if Winky feels comfortable there anymore.

I think Mayweather may pose problems.

Great point, unless you truly believe he got old overnight, I would say that Winky was looking good in the Quartey and Taylor fight. He was the same ol' Winky but with much more willingness to open up and exchange (probably for the fans and for boosting his marquee).

Even if his Winky's legs are gone, his jab is still there, along with his defense, which at 154, I don't think PBF will be able to crack. Even when throwing the jab, Winky does a good job of covering up. Winky will outwork him to a UD.

Yes he does. Just because Winky uses his jab more than Floyd doesn't mean he has a better jab. Floyd's jab is stiffer and more accurate. He also does a good job of jabbing to the body. Everyone thinks Winky has the greatest jab of all time, not true. Winky has a good jab and it's probably about 60% of his offense, but it's not as good as people make it out to be.

For me, the great thing about Winky's jab isnt really the speed, stiffness or accuracy of it. It's that he's able to dominate and dictate entire fights with it. You may be right, maybe Floyd does have a technically better jab, but he doesn't do nearly enough with it.

Well said - Winky has shown in the past that he can control a fight with it. Maybe he's slipping, so maybe Floyd has the better jab now.
