It's time to KO that china chinned Berrio and get the title back into the hands of a good fighter. Stieglitz should have never had it anyway, fucking corruption.

The IBF belonged to Supernatural Joe. But quick Lucian will be a good holder of that belt also.:good

Carl Froch is saying he is better than Bute on fightnews.ca. I would love to see Bute and Carl Froch fight to see who is the 3rd best SMW or 4th depending where you have mundine. The winner can fight Kessler or Calzaghe. Then Froch could shut his mouth.

Talk is cheap. If he's better then Bute. Why did he turn down a fight against him to get a got at Berrio?

Oh... here is another pic from the weight in.

We don't know. Froch could have Bute's number. But all that doesn't matter. Fact is Froch had an opportunity to fight Bute in an IBF Title Eliminator and he turned it down. Now he is talking trash about Bute. That makes him a tool.

Carl Froch comments on Bute-Berrio
"I'm better and stronger than Lucian Bute"
By Dave Spencer,

While undefeated British Commonwealth Super Middleweight champ Carl Froch gets closer to his upcoming November 9th matchup with former champion Robin Reid, his eyes seem firmly affixed on those wearing the belts in the super-middleweight division. As he prone to do, Froch has come out and is bad-mouthing the entire division in hopes of building his own case for a significant fight.

"The three best super-middleweights in the world are in action within a week of each other," said Froch referring to Joe Calzaghe, Mikkel Kessler and of course, himself."I would stop either of Berrio or Bute, but it's the WBC title and either Calzaghe or Kessler who I am going for," said Froch who is ranked #2 in the WBC, #11 WBA, #5 WBO. He will be the top ranked contender in the IBF after Friday's Berrio-Bute matchup.

"I stopped Henry Porras in eight rounds two years ago, someone who had knocked out Berrio. In my last fight I utterly destroyed Sergey Tatevosyan, who Lucian Bute had to go to points with two months earlier.

"So the stats say it all. Lucian Bute is not a massive puncher and has not been hit by someone like me yet. Tatevosyan told me after our fight I'm better and stronger than Lucian Bute," said Froch about his Russian opponent who doesn't speak English.

"Kessler and Calzaghe would be tough fights for me and Lucian Bute or Berrio are not in the same league. I would fancy I would knock either of Berrio or Bute out."

Wrong! Vitali Tsypko just won an IBF title eliminator for the #2 spot. So he'll be ranked at #2 in the next ranking. #1 will be vacant and Froch will be #3.

Bute looks emaciated. I'm guessing he won't stick at 168 for much longer, win or lose.

It's pretty much normal these days for fighters to put on 10lbs to 15 lbs between the weight in and the fight. Manny Pacquiao who's much smaller then Bute put on 14 lbs in his last fight against Barrera.

Berrio's physique reminds me of Pavlik...

Both skinny looking, yet have proven to have a great deal of power & speed in their punches...
Berrio will be dangerous tonight against Bute. One mistake, and it could be the end of the night for Bute.

Bute will have to take advantage of his footwork, balance, and countering to the body in order to win.
