Whats happened here? I put 981 and 750 on Tony Salam now its changed to say i've put it on Daniel Cadman at 2/1!!!! Also I put 50 on Paul David to win and its changed to Eddie McIntosh!

Can someone please sort this out as I dont wanna lose all my v cash on someone I never backed in the first place

Here, we are able to see what the odds were on the outcome that each individual bet on.

For instance, we see that kadoiron bet $30 on whatever outcome was slated at 16/1. Looking back up at the Google Cache image, we know that was "Sam Horton".

So basically, every time you fudge around with something on an existing Vbookie event you risk jumbling all the outcomes - they'll jump out of position into a new random order and paired up not only with different betting odds, but the information on who bet on each option will be out of whack as well.

This particularly seems to be a problem when there are many bet options - not so much for the simpler ones (A or B by KO, A or B by decision, draw)

If you keep editing one of these wonky events (even not touching anything), every time you hit "save changes" it will re-arrange everything.

The only constant is that whatever the odds were on your original bet, they will show in the event details page above.

So no matter what is listed in the field for Outcome #6, or what is filled in as the "current odds", it will always show that kadoiron bet $30 on an outcome that was tipped at 16/1 (meaning, as we've deduced from the old image of the page, Sam Horton).

So basically, I need to keep jumbling the page until everything appears in the following order:

Salam 2/1
Mendy 8/1
David 12/1
Horton 16/1
McIntosh 18/1
Fedorenko 25/1
Cadman 40/1

And then the late options I added, #8 and 9 respectively, were

Evans 10/1
Either reserve 20/1

Fingers crossed - the bettor info should then align properly with all the options, and this son of a bitch can finally be put to bed.

So now we know what it's supposed to look like. But it's 3am here, so I'm going to bed, and will fix this in the morning.

The people who will ultimately be getting payouts are the ones, obviously, who bet on the ultimate PF SMW winner - Patrick Mendy. His original odds, as seen above, were 8/1 - so only bets staked on 8/1 odds will be honored.

So far as I can tell the following stakes are due for a payout:

Since Salam did not compete, will those of us who bet on him get refunds? Personally I had 4000 on him winning, which doubles my bankroll if I get a refund. I enjoy participating in the vbetting and am happy with my 4000 win on Mendy, but I don't want to take a 4000 loss on a bet where my horse was scratched.

Ah, right. Well, the only way to do that would be to abandon the event altogether once all of everybody's bets are aligned with the appropriate options, rather than settling it. So instead of there being payouts on Mendy, everyone would just have their original stakes returned. It's one or the other really, there isn't a way to do both.

I'm happy to just abandon it once the bets are lined up properly if that seems fairest. That way everyone will just get their original vcash back and it will be as though the event was never made.

I'd vote for a refund then. However it turns out, I'm the biggest better and biggest winner on this event by some way, having bet 4000 on Salam and 500 on Mendy. For me, even with the Mendy bet as cover, I'm not happy with eating a 4000 loss when Salam pulled out of the contest after I placed my bet, because any betting agency will give a refund in those circumstances.

Shame, this would have been a nice little earner, but ah well, such is life. So yeah, the ideal solution would be to refund the Salam bets and pay the Mendy bets, but if that is impossible then I certainly vote for a full refund. Let me also take this opportunity to thank you for your time with this whole vBookie thing, which I find a very enjoyable sideline to this site. :good
