My middle knuckle hurts, its been hurting. Everytime i punch the bag with my left hand, the middle knuckle have sharp pains. I rested for more than a month(not for the knuckle but a muscle pull) and when i got into punching the bag again, the pain started all over again. Should I get it checked, do you think this is permanent?
Thanks in advance.

Wrap up!!!
You probably injured it when you didn't wrap your hands up one day for training, just because your wearing gloves doesn't mean your hands are protected. Don't be lazy and put hand wraps on.
For now though, stop and give your hands a rest in order to heal. If you keep sparring or hitting the bag your only going to make it worse (common sense here), so next time you go to the gym just do jump rope, shadowboxing, footwork drills, duck rope, speed bag, ect. Any that won't have you hitting with the hurt knuckles.

I been having the same problem I have sharp pains on my middle knuckle that irritates me severely when I throw anything with a little bit of pop behind it..especially overhand rights. Thing is I actually didnt hit anything for over 2 months and the sharp pain in my knuckle is still there.
