Call me skeptical, but anytime I see an opponent get a draw anywhere inside the German border I'm thinking they got jobbed. Anyone see the fight with some comments would be much appreciated.

Griffin has already said he wants a rematch and wants it to be in Germany. I imagine if he was fed up with the decision he would demand he took the fight somewhere else. It was a very close fight to call. People are so quick to cause robbery, especially when it involves Germany. The same thing is happening in the good ol' USA on nearly a weekly basis.

I saw the fight. The verdict was ok. Griffin threw a lot of punches, but many of them landed on Sturm´s defence. On the other hand Sturm landed fewer but harder shots. It was a close one and could´ve gone either way - but I think the draw was the right outcome of the fight.

There goes sanother American bitching and whinning about boxing swomewhere else. Meanwhile promoters in the states are going to jail for fixing fights. At least in Germany titles are decided in the ring unlike the states where they are awarded without a fight.

I saw the fight. The verdict, a draw, was fair. What was even more satisfying to see was Sturms immediate offer for a re-match. Looking forward to see Sturm increase his work rate.
