Freddie Steele, one of the most forgotten great fighters of all time. I'd imagine Greb would take Steele, but of all the Avatars of fighters in around the same weight class I would say Steele has the best chance.

Sinatra steps into the ring looking like a skinny wimp. Suddenly ten Gambinos in shark skin suits stand up in the front row and start shooting. Sinatra got the signal beforehand and hits the canvas.

Harry doesn't wake up to bells and smelling salts, but to harps. Or sulphur.

Make that 8. Sinatra is third from left. Paulie Castellano is first from left. He was the boss of the Gambino's until Gotti got him circa 1985 in NYC. Carlo Gambino is there and Jimmy "The Weasel" Frattiano is there too (he wrote "The Last Mafioso" which is among the best La Cosa Nostra book by a turncoat ever)

Monzon would party Flintoff under the table. Then steal his shoes. Then set him on fire (maybe).

EDIT: Actually, so would Greb.

you wish, freddies ashes celebrations are the stuff legends are made of, there was a list published in the papers of roughly what he drank through that 48 hours, must track it down.

He can booze, no denying that (though i'd take a deep breath before selling whats in The Sun about "Freddie's boozing shame" as for sure reality) but regardless, he does cuddly partying. Monzon does evil partying.

They're in different classes my man. P4P ATG and solid contender.

I was actually going to post one of Moore instead. Always amused by the Oliver Reed quote about the huge benders Roger had with himself and Keith Moon!!!! Reed said "Believe me, Roger tucked me and Keith up in bed many a time". :D

That is major league quaffing.

he was warned several times by team management about his antics on tour, so quite a lot i'd imagine.

He was good but was no Bill Werbeniuk, he drank at least 25 pints a day, and on top of that, managed to get the tax back, as he needed the drink to work!

Now that is the way to do it. :hey

Monzon vs. Greb. I can answer with the utmost certainty that Monzon KO 1 or 2 would be the result, cemented, fully confident certainty.

Now, my avatar, Greb vs. Calzaghe..

Calzaghe TKO 1.

The utmost, cemented, fully confident certainty, complete with a smug look on my face.
