loving those odds on the over. I predict ADAMEK UD12 BY WAY OF HARD CHEEN.

I think those odds are a bit over the top.
Grant is a huge guy with a big punch. If Adamek makes a mistake in the first few rounds he can be in HUGE trouble.

1/7 is the sweetest available on Adamek.
It gets even harsher than that. Some books have him as long as 1/12!

Honestly, I won't touch this fight on principle, but if I were to bet, I think the smary money is taking a shot on Grant.
Adamek is NOT a true heavyweight.
He is a very special fighter, though.
BTW, IB--did you see the Adamek training footage I filmed, by chance?

Not yet, got a link?
The only bet that might tempt me here is the Over.

Let me know what you think. This was the first time I ever filmed boxing-related activities.

Good stuff.
I like that how he trains and how he fights are almost identical. Often you see boxers practice a certain way and then just coast under the big lights. Adamek is intense and workmanlike in every context.
It's also good to hear that he's so pumped and ready. I also dug his honesty about his heavyweight peers.
That Over is looking really, really nice...

He is a true professional.
I actually think he is already showing some improvements under Bloodworth (whom I consider to be one of the most underrated trainers in boxing).
I have seen Adamek workout three times now (also before fights with Bobby Gunn and Jason Estrada). I think he seems more fluid and his head and upper body movement seem vastly improved to my untrained eye.

He's a straight shooter and he doesn't talk trash. I admire that in a champion. In many ways, that's a lost art so to speak.

Interestingly enough, I just bet the under!

Bet on the over....with a vengeance

I hesitate to go for the over/under no matter how bad the money is for Adamek to win. Grant's beard is not too good. Adamek's punch has not seemed to me to carry that well, to HW. I might...I might bet a dollar on Adamek to win. I've got a dollar to spare.

I'm thinking about plunging the over 9.5 it seams to be the value bet as has already been stated.

cool video. good interview. i wouldn't have used ride of the valkyries for the opening considering Adamek is a Polish heavyweight and all the Nazi connotations that go with that song, but a very good video.
