imagine wlad had mccall's chin, he could outbox the skilled fighters (byrd, brock etc.) and would not be afraid to slug it out with the punchers if they keep coming at him (brewster, peter). who could beat him? most fighters are afraid of wlad, they don't look him in the eye at the staredown, if they knew they wouldn't have even the punchers chance...
please discuss!

Well sure, but the problem is that we could have anyone as unbeatable with critera like that.
Holyfield with a punch like Foreman? Lewis with a chin like McCall?
Chris Byrd with the punch of Mike Tyson:D
Valeuv with the speed of Roy Jones :yikes
NOw that would be terrifying.

Mike Tyson with the height and reach of Valuev.... only then would people be able to make an arguement that Tyson was actually unbeatable.

If his chin was granite, he probably wouldn't box as well. I think a part of what makes someone work on their boxing skill is that thiny little fear of getting knocked out. A lot of guys with really good chins and good power become crudish sluggers, they lax on thier conditioning. They just walk in and try to end a fight with one punch, what happens it they get outworked and lose a decision.
Of course there are great chinned power punchers fighters who also had some skills. I guess Vitali would be a good example of that.

If Wlad Klitschko's chin was as solid as Tua's or Marion...He'd be one of the most dominant in recent boxing HW history. He's got the talent already , plus the size and power...but his chin will always make this guy a 50/50 type of fighter cause He can get KOed anytime.

i didn't mean something like what if a 500 pounds fighter moved like a lightweight... just wlad with a little better chin, his brother has one too, so geneticswise it could be there. i'm not combining supernatural attributes...

Where have you been and who did you watch? He was springing on his toes for 12 vs ibragimov(not much action though), fresh against Peter frsh against Tompson, Chambers, 6 rounds heavy punding of Lamon in Rematch. Even First Peter fight. He was out of gass when he threw over 500 power punches in less than 9 rounds. And Lamon Brewster fight seemed like fluke and never repeated again.

He isnt exactly having to bust a nut.
Pressure causes panic and in turn can eat up a lot of energy,
Wlad probably hasnt been put under the pump in 3 years.
Such has been the state of the HW division.
I dont have a personal opinion on whether Wlad had no stamina,
but If he did have none, he could well still get by anyway.

It seems as though Wlad sans chin is unbeatable anyways?

Lewis, even Golota with a granite chin would be nearly unbeatable as well, some others probably too..

Freelaw is absolutely correct, gents. It's only slowed down so A. You can actually fucking see it's happening in the first place and B. So you can observe the technique.

wladimir klitschko+granite chin+referee that forbids hugging = still beatable
look at the sanders fight, he's got no inside fighting skills. sanders' punches which he managed to land would stop anyone.

This fight was 7 years ago. Wlad did not know to hold and not get hit!
Now he works with a real good professional trainer Emnauel Steward and he knows his stuff.
Sanders stood on his feet and Wlad did not know what he should do. You can not compare this Wlad with todays Wlad.
Wlad īs chin is okay, he took some good shots from Peter and Wlad never was knocked out.

Aside from chin, Wlad also has no inside fighting skills.

You know what, I'd probably agree with this. Although it's undoubtedly a combination of the two.
