for their last fights hatton was at 140 and floyd was at 154 so they should fight at 147 for the ring championship.

It would clearly take place at 147. Don't know why you're confused about this. Mayweather is a small 154 pounder that could easily go back down in weight and we already know that Hatton can make 147, so what's the problem here?

I wouldn't care too much if PBF and Hatton don't get it on.I'd much rather see Maywether fight Mosely, Cotto, or the Margarito-Williams winner.
Seems like Mayweather went out of his way to get "insulted" so he can drum up a fight with an easier opponent in Hatton, rather than fight one of the more scary welterweights.

Ricky will be better physically this time at 147. Last time it was on short notice b/c he was supposed to fight Lazcano at 140 but HBO turned it down. Hatton had the HBO date but didn't know his opponent or weight until like 7 weeks before the fight.

There will be more time if he fights Mayweather to properly get his body to 147.

maybe but I still beleive hell do better at 140, hes naturaly small 5'6 and his style is to bully with strenght and inside fighting, at 147, there are fighters that are big enough (maybe floyd) to beat him at his own game wich at 140 wasnt the case.
