Marco Huck will win
cunninghamn is the slickest of all the cruiisers and will pose huck problems.
but huck can susutain the pressure and workrate the best of all the top ten cruisers and if wlodcrcyk gave cunningham 2 hard fights than the much better rounded huck will be to much IMO.

I seen Cunnigham vs Diablo I, he is more John Ruiz then being that slick. He never stops holding and fights scared. God that was awful! Huck should take this.

Cunningham is a tough ass matchup for anyone, but he shouldn't fight Huck in Germany. If so, he's heading for a probable decision loss.
Huck is straightforward and aggressive, and has added a jab to his arsenal, but Cunningham is very slick and could take advantage of the more stand-up, Euro style of Huck.

Don't base your opinions off of one performance. Cunningham was more cautious in that fight because of Diablo's power and that it was his first title shot.

Great! After first getting robbed in Poland versus Wlodarczyk, now he can get robbed in Germany as well.
Why do you think the German promoters offered $425,414 compared to the $404,000 of Don King(!).
At the long term they will earn triple that amount ($21.414) back by promoting and making the German boxing audience/community believe that this Huck is a boxing god.

Marco is a stiff that makes a lot of mistakes, but he's at least pressing the action, Cunningham will not have the time to start popping that jab and keeping Marco out of range.
Marco will win a pretty boring contest, Steve has a good jab, but if you neutralize that, he's got virtually nothing.
If Cunningham had a good inside game, and powerful hooks, he would've been able to dig it out and knock Huck.
Huck again, is a stiff.. he's emotional and makes a lot of mistakes, throw him in there with Ding and we'll see him go down :)

That fight was just terrible, as bad as any Ruiz fight, honestly. Then it pissed me off when he complained like he was robbed so badly, after that poor of an effort! Cunnigham fought like he didnt even want to be in the ring. Both fighters probably deserved to lose, if that was possible. But at least Diablo was trying to fight, Cunnigham wasnt doing anything but his best Ruiz impression.

Cunningham is fast but has no punching power. Huck has good defence and throws great combos and will win it by UD.

Huck's pressure could trouble him, but you're wrong about the jab being Cunningham's only weapon.
At his best he moves constantly, not just laterally but good head and body movement, and throws lots of sharp punches in combination. Pure, straight aggression won't necessarily negate that.
I refer you to the Sebastian Rothmaan fight for a good example. Cunningham also beat Guillermo Jones in a close fight; Jones being a rangy and aggressive fighter who can crack with the right hand.
Huck/Cunningham is an interesting style matchup that should be a better fight than you guys are anticipating.

Huck will be the most physical guy Cunningham has faced beside Jones and Wldoarcyk plus he has the best stamina of all cruiserweights.
I see a tense and close fight for about 8 rounds, then Huck turning up the heat while Cunningham will fade, holding to survive - but Huck being ultra-strong will break those clinches, forcing to ref to stop the fight in round 11 or 12 as Cunningham can't throw anyhing back and getting caught by some hard combos...

Huck will win, I am sure of it.
Cunnigham fights scared, and Huck is going to bring the pressure. Cunnigham is going to have break a record for clinches in a fight, for him to survive. Steve doesnt have power, and the much slower, and ponderous (then Huck) Diablo, was able to land on him. Huck is bigger, hits, harder and the major difference is he is much quicker then Diablo was. Huck is athletic, and throws many punches! I dont even know HTF Diablo got a title shot?

Cunningham is very athletic - he seems almost like the Jermaine Taylor of cruiserweights, minus the bad decisions.
It's weird that a guy who looks to be in MONSTER shape like Cunningham has stamina problems late in fights, I mean, look at any picture of Steve...the man looks like a BEAST.

Does he have stanima problems? Really, I cannot immagine that, the way he does/does not fight.
Huck has balls, he is a tall figher but comes to fight, and throws alot of punches. Huck is for real, he is quick, hits hard, he whooped the tough, highly ranked Russian Tokaraev's ass.

You keep repeating that, but please tell me what other fights you've seen of Cunningham besides Wlodarczyk?
Huck is definitely the real deal, but Cunningham is a far more talented fighter than Tokarev.

I havent seen any other. I seen enough to know Cunnigham fought scared, is afraid to get hit and is boring.
He was intimidated by Diablo, do you not agree?
Steve held every single chance he had, then complained about losing after such a poor effort.

Admittingly, apart from his fights against Wlodarcyzk-who is no top 10 fighter at all(he got a gift decision against Karanevich)-I havent seen any of outings to a box ring.
However, judging on what I saw I wouldnt bet a single coin on Cunningham against Huck.
Huck is a very powerful young fighter with good stamina and a lot of pop in his fists.
He still makes a lot of mistakes inside a box ring ,but Cunningham isnt the one to take advantage of those mistakes.
Huck is just too strong and mentally tough for Cunningham.
You have to be prepared to go to war when entering the same ring with Huck-Cunningham isnt IMO.
As for Cunningham being more talented than Tokarev I for my part would surely favour Tokarev if they ever met inside a box ring.
To a certain extent Tokarev has a similar style to Huck.
I was surprised how easily Huck won round after round in his encounter with the strong and hard-punching Tokarev.
Huck is the real deal, and Tokarev is still too much for Cunningham IMO.
As sean rightfully pointed out a fighter who had two pretty close with feather fisted and limited Wlodarycyk wont stand much of a chance against Huck.

I guess it will be a split decision.
Cunningham will do a lot more than Huck on the outside with his reach and jab and at the inside he will hug like Ruiz.
Huck often throws 2 or 3 combinations on the inside and not more for the hole round. The crowd in germany may cheer those combinations, although they don't see that only 1 of 5 punches is landing.
One jugde will me impressed of Huck's combinations and his harder punches, the other judge will give Cunningham more points for doing more and hitting some jabs, although Cunningham isn't a hard hitter. The third judge has just to decide whether it will be a draw or a split decision. If he gives Huck a 115:113 many guys will scream that it's impossible to win on points in Germany ... and UK .. and Italy ... and Japan ... and Denmark ... and Puerto Rico ... and Australia ... and France ...

I can only see Huck winning this...don't underestimate his chin too...
...the problem however with a Huck win is the fact that this division is unlikely to be unified (seeing as he is unlikely to travel outside of Germany/Central Europe).

Huck is gonna win this fight. He is the best cruiserweight in the world in a division that is stacked.

Huck is probably the best cruiser out there right now. I don't see him having major problems with Cunningham.

You sure? The fight will be staged in Germany's capital Berlin? Would be great!
If so I am going to watch it live!

Haye, Mormeck, Bell, Macceranelli would all beat Huck

Macca? I very much doubt it!
Anyway! There are quite a handful of new faces at cruiser weight who can hold their own against Huck. The young and talented Cuban Hernandez, silver olympist Kraj,Solis' old rival, the heavy handed Russian cruiser Alexeev whose firepower was feared at the amateurs.
Huck looked great in his last fight against Tokarev who is a true top 10 fighter.
Cunningham had two pretty close fights with the relatively harmless Wlodarcyzk.
I cant really see Cunningham winning a point decision against Huck.

Right this minute, the first three probably could. A year from now, I wouldn't hold my breath. Don't forget this kid has only been boxing for 3 years (he was a kickboxer before then), and he's not even close to hitting his physical prime. Best I can tell, he's also generally better conditioned than any of those guys. He laid a beatdown on Tokarev (the judge who scored it even was on crack or something), and didn't tire out the way Mormeck, Haye and Bell tend to do late in fights.

I'm still picking Cunningham to beat Huck if he gets fair judging. He moves well, and if he keeps his workrate up higher than against Wlodarcyzk, he'll outbox Huck.

I like Cunningham. But Huck COULD take this. Im not 100% sure tho. Cunningham is indeed slick and he has somewhat some speed. I like Stevey. He seems like a cool guys and hes a good boxer stylistically.
I don't know my final prediction for this fight, but I presume it would be close. Im leaning maybe a hair towards Mark, but im not sure yet.

'Out work Huck', LMFAO ? Cunnigham, he is gunshy to even let his hands go at all against Diablo. Steve held him like he was a lover!
Do realize how many punches Huck throws?
"He moves well ", Cunnigham better move well because Huck will tear him to pieces. The problem is Huck is quick, and athletic, unlike Diablo who is ponderous. This is Huck's fight to take. You probably are right though that Cunnigham will try and take the fight with bullshit tactics :running, shoe shinning, and holding, etc. Whatever he can do to make it a lame fight benefits Cunnigham.
According to the news their encounter will take place in Huck's backyard,in Bielefeld,Germany.
All the odds are against Cunningham IMO.
Huck has the edge in firepower, has stamina is good, his workrate relatively high, and he will fight in front of his home town crowd.
Cunningham has to put his best foot forwarth to survive a 12 round war with his very young and capable opponent in the German's backyard.
Well,Cunningham, a cat in gloves catches no mice!

If you're referring to me, I said OUTBOX not OUTWORK. There's a difference.
And again, you make pretty strong statements for only having seen two of the guy's fights. I'm not saying Cunningham will absolutely win, but he's got damn good skills, and as good as Huck is, he has plenty of weaknesses to be exploited.
I'll tell you right now that Guillermo Jones was a better fighter when Cunningham edged him than Huck is at the present time.

Huck showed a very convincing performance against Tokarev.
At the time of their fight Tokarev was genuine top 10 cruiser weight.
I still dare to say that if Tokarev fought Cunningham's victim Wlodarcyk tomorrow the strong Russian would take the Pole out of action within the first half of their encounter.
Of course Cunningham has a chance to beat the relatively inexerienced Huck, but he for sure must be called the underdog in his upcomming bout against Huck on German soil.
My advice,Cunningham:Hit and run,be extremely cautious within the first 2-3 rounds,go for the body, and clinch, clinch, and again clinch! Huck's stamina is good, and so is his punch, but his defence is a bit sloppy, and he tends to lose his compusure when provoked and under pressure.
Make the fight dirty, provoke him,get under his skin, make him make mistakes in the ring!
Remember that Huck is a very strong and powerful young fighter who isnt very keen on following his coach's game plan!
