I know, I know, not fair. But for however long it lasted, it would be a glorious battle of strong wills. Something's got to give, and that moment is exactly what makes boxing so enthralling for me. Two strong men, and that pinpoint moment where one has to acknowledge he cannot win on this night. You can see it in most fights not decided by a sudden knockout.

Love that moment.

Hatton vs Duran

Hatton would put forth a valaint effort never backing down to hands of stone. I mean Duran started off pretty light so I would not be surprised to see this fight go to the scorecards and with someone winning an SD. Then again this is Duran where talking about, Duran SD/TKO 11 in a bloody fight.

I would have to take Duran in this one. I think people sleep on Duran. This guy feared no one. Duran spent a good part of his career at lightweight yet was able to go the distance with Hagler at MW. Ricky is a nice fighter, but I don't think he has much of a chance against a prime Duran.

Duran had everything Ricky had except more. Both were dirty as hell.

I'd favour Duran to win but I doubt he'd win easily at all.

There would be a lot of clinching, and quality bodypunching.

Duran pretty handily beats Hatton.
