How about an expert opinion, and a first hand report of what it means to face Mikkel in the ring.

Kessler in 6:

For those with limited french language skills. Lucas has never such a complete boxers as Kessler. In his eyes and from personal experience Mikkel is undoubtlly top p4p on the planet.
He hits extremely heavy and hard his jab is a ramrod and he profits from the smallest mistake by his opponents.

He is extremely skilled when attacking and his defence and counter defence the same. And he says he can assure you he speaks from personla experience and suggest that Librado Andrade says the same....which is true of Beyer who says he is the ultimate strongest he has ever met. ODH also has golden words for Mikkel.

Tonight Joe wil skullfuck all the experts once again undressing their total lack of boxing understanding, when Mikkel makes a clinic on Joe.

This is not a hard fight to predict. Kessler ko 6-8

Yea but you forgot the most important part: Lucas and Andrade stayed in front of Kessler the whole night, making it easy for him to land his jab and power shots. Joe is a southpaw, which will make the task harder for Kessler to jab as effectively on him as he did against the two others. Joe will also move a lot and throw combinations (unlike Andrade) and go foward (unlike Lucas). Everybody in Québec seems to favor Kessler but I think Calzaghe will win this one by close UD.

Never ask a boxers who has been beaten by another as he is certain to suggest that opponent beat everyone to sugest the loss was to a true champion

yep, common opponents are good judges but a boxer who has only fought one will always pick 'his' guy.

wrong

usually when an opponent loses, he says the opposite to suggest that his loss was a freak occurence.

Joe has almost always had size and power advantage. Look at Ashira. He is having a light middlew fight soon.

All the shit about angles and weird movement aint gonna help shit tonight. Beyer was like a kid compared to kessler. He even admits that he is the strongest he ever met. and he was southpaw.

Joe relies on controlling the pace not by being pushed around and cut of all the time. I think fear will turn to fright.

Joe aint used to be the one being shot on in the corner or on the rope.

Bika frustrated Joe and spoiled his game. Kessler will make Bika's effort look like childs play.

Joe is gone tomorrow

Point being why do Kesslers opponents seem in awe of him and Joes opponents seem to belittle him and his skills ?

Always? Veit, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell were all bigger/around the same size as Calzaghe. To say always, and use one shitty example is stupid.

Beyer doesnt fight anything like Joe, he didnt try to use angles or anything. He stood very square, and he isnt even on the same level as Calzaghe.

Joe relies on controlling the pace not by being pushed around and cut of all the time. I think fear will turn to fright.

Joe pushes his opponents around all the time, he always works well off clinches. If you think Kessler is stronger, then your incorrect. Kessler hits harder, but isnt physically stronger. Calzaghe will throw him around in clinches.

Joe aint used to be the one being shot on in the corner or on the rope.

He won't have to fight off the ropes, Kessler won't make Joe backup.

Bika frustrated Joe and spoiled his game. Kessler will make Bika's effort look like childs play.

Bika is alot different to Kessler. Bika is physically very strong, stronger than Kessler, and is a very dirty fighter. Kessler doesnt use rough house tactics like Bika. Watch everyone Bika has fought, nobody looks particularly good against him.

Same applies to Calzaghe - only difference is, that JC has looked less than impressive before.

Calzaghe's has two main problems: 1. When his opponents try rough house tactics, he'll often fight there fight, and make it very messy. Reid and Bika are two good examples of this. 2. Lack of motivation, Calzaghe needs high class opponents in order to get him motivated and bring the best out of him.

Neither should be a problem for this fight, i look forward to seeing an awesome fight, and my only hope is that the best man on the night wins:good (that being Calzaghe;))

Manfredo picked Joe by decision, unless the ref stops it prematurely in the December issue of Ring Mag.

Bika originally said Kessler, but in the most recent interview he has said its 50/50 and he can't choose. Bute has already predicted Calzaghe to win.

really? I guess a lot of guys are changing their minds on this fight, thats how close it is. In the December issue of Ring, Bute was one of only 5 out of 20 to pick Kessler.
