that fight was sooo much more intense than liddell vs jackson II...
having said that...anything can happen now...maybe liddell will KO silva too...(or maybe not)..

I liked THAT Wandy too, but Hendo destroyed him in Pride also so what is the difference?


Also, it happens, so just remember Silva as the badass he was in his prime. Samething with CroCop, I will remember him in his prime, not the UFC version of CroCop. Samething with Tyson, I will remember pre-prison Tyson not the Mike Hypeson of the latter part of his career.

Silva`s got gigantic balls but even against Hunt i believe back then he bit off quite a bit more than he could chew.Hunt is a mammoth of a man who has a chin of iron and steel hammers in either fist.

but that fight humbled him big time...he was extremely different...
he had a good fight vs Yoshida (in their rematch) but still..he only won via split decision... (not that it's embarrassing...Yoshida's first fight was very difficult for silva too).

then he was very hesistant against Arona... then the worst moment of his career...vs Crocop...and hendo was the final nail in the coffin.

i don't know which silva version we'll soon get to see in the ufc..but i'm not deluded...and i'm not expecting any miracles.

well yeah i know hendo did it in pride but it's not really important...It's just that he's been so different in his latest fights... (when compared to the pre-Hunt era)...

nah...Hunt fucked him up. I mean , Silva put up a great fight but Hunt pretty much landed the best shots and almost koed silva.

silva had all the takedowns though. But none of his attacks had any serious effects on Hunt.

Wand won the hunt fight imo..

Wand is a fighter that made himself out of aggression, intesity and intimidation, along with the tools to back all those things up..

Wand without all those aspects that historically made him, "The Axe Murderer." Just isn't the same fighter.. If Wand comes in intense against Liddel, he should win easily if Liddel looks as shitty as he did last fight..
