Well, pehraps that is because Russia's super heavy, a man maned Timurziev had to withdraw due to illness in the semi finals vs Italy's Cammarelle.

No disrespect meant to Camarrelle, he is a very good fighter and deserved to win gold. The match between him ad Timurziev would have been very intersting.

Timurziev is the best puncher in the amatuers has seen in the past 10 years.
