Juarez has always been a pussy, no real heart. He gives it like 60% in every fight, no rage, no anger in him. It's so frustrating to watch guys like him fight sometimes, because it's all there for them, but no desire to risk it and be aggressive... ala Dominick Guinn, Brian Viloria, etc.

Thank God They didn't put this in PPV. It's a mismatch from the getgo.

Juan Manuel Marquez takes it by wide UD. I gave it 12-0 to Marquez.

Even though it was one sided it was still a very good fight non the less. Its just a real shame that Juarez got that nasty cut, it would have made things a bit more interesting.

BIG CONGRATZ to JMM for a great elite performance. I do hope to see Juarez finally get a title at 126lbs.

Well to all of those who said that Marquez would go down with a single left hook, there you go. He took flush shots to the jaw and didn't faced him.

I'm very glad I got to see another great fight in Calzaghe/Kessler then switch the channel to watch Marquez/Juarez.

I feel so bad for Rocky. To fight for 12 rounds with a one inch gash over your eye takes balls and courage, and while he lost most of the rounds he still gave Marquez a good fight like I knew he would.

Would have been more interesting if it wasn't for that nasty gash.

YES. JMM is not yet a PPV Caliber.

Not PPV caliber? with the fight he showed versus Juarez tonight, and match it up against Pac, how would any boxing fan say that JMM isnt worthy of the PPV?

C'mon, guys, give props to Pac-fans' most hated rival. :nod

well, props to marquez. i do not hate marquez, in fact i respect him the most, next to morales off course. he will give pacquiao a very hard time again. people at boxrec are discusssing a rematch with pacquiao and surprise... pacquiao is still the underdog!!!

so now people, who do you reallly want for pacquiao's next fight? juan diaz or juan marquez? both fights, people see pacquiao as the underdog. :hey

Picky audience here. JMM dissected Rocky like a surgeon there. It was a beautiful boxing master class, man. I normally get sleepy watching "technical boxers" like Winky, but JMM made the fight exciting, even with an almost shutout performance.

chimba
11-04-2007, 12:34 AM
One reason JMM promoters want a JMM-PAC fight coz JMM CAN'T HOLD PPV ON HIS OWN. LETS ACCEPT THIS FACT.

Thats why he is Showtime!!! :rofl

If I was an idiot then I probably pay for that. I would not pay 10.00 not even 5.00

I don't have to pay because I can watch most of the fights for free. However, that it is irrelevant. The point is, did he beat the guy crystal clear, yes or not?

Not really..He was exciting and dominant..But he just cant draw flies..dont know why...I was looking for any thread here ...it didnt start til after the 5th round til someone posted anything.

And yes he was dominant but what do yuo expect from this midget Jaurez with a 20 inch gash.. he was outgunned from the getgo

I had sisig for the first time when I visited the islands back in 2005. Couple that with Redhorse and I was sh*tting in my pants more than JMM after he was questioned for an immediate rematch with Pac.

What's redhorse..9 percent alcohol?

Question about the fight, did JMM do ANY Brawling or Juarez just afraid to pull trigger?

sisig's not nice to look at, and you dont wanna ask what's in it, but it tastes so heavenly, I'd like to call it "God's vomit".

Red Horse is 6.5 alcohol by content.

JMM carried the whole fight, Juarez was stuck with one style of fighting.
He was just plodding , ducking, a jab and a straight that misses. once in a while he throws his left hook that slides off JMM's shoulders.

Rocky was a living punching bag.

I found out the hard way what was in it AFTER I ate it. It tasted good, but I think that since it was my first time, my body had a hard time acclimating to it.
It was 1 bottle of redhorse too. I had this in the Makati district, I can't remember the restaraunt. So it wasn't that farmstyle Sisig. Funny sign I saw was Sisig Pizza...uggghhh!!

Wow, a guy winning a majority decision and a cut involved...sounds familiar?

juarez was game but he usually just goes for one shot at a time while marquez will give him 2 or 3 in return. marquez is a little wary of juarez' power so he is little defensive but seeing that he was outclassing juarez in terms of skill, he will often be the first to punch. btw, juarez suffered a big cut due to accidental head clash during the very first round and many taught that this bout will be a no contest. juarez stayed for the rest of the fight and should be commended for his heart even though he was outclassed.

red horse is a fucking strong beer here. props to you man for taking it! :good

Not all. I was waiting for Solar to show Calzaghe/Kessler fight in cable but they replayed the Pac-Barrera II and OPBF fights in Japan. These guys have no appreciation of better fights to show.

maybe they don't have contractual rights with blowtime.
