I can't figure any list that would have Bruno ahead of McCallum. One was a great fighter. The other people liked to talk about a lot.

In one of those "Legendary Nights" documentaries they referred to him as the Jamaican-born Englishman who represented Canada at the olympics.

"If you're a citizen of everywhere, you're a citizen of nowhere"

I think, anyway

You obviously don't 'know'. Lewis was born in West Ham. Mike McCallum's the most obvious choice here. :good

If you look around on the main page, there was an article about Jamaican fighter a couple of weeks ago. Is Emile Griffith Jamaican?

Virgin Islands, I think!

Which brings the question, who would win the battle of the virgin Islanders; Griffith vs Julian Jackson

The Hawk off course.
He loved fighters coming in and Griffith was a good pressure infighter

Emile Griffith wins. Jackson hit hard and if anyone could dent Griffith's chin it would be him but Griffith was so much better. He would rin Jackson up on the inside and outbox him on the outside. You also have to remember that Jackson had a shaky chin himself and Griffith had more than enough power to stop him. Griffith wins

yeah, it all depends on whether Griffith makes it through the first five rounds

Mike Mccallum is prolly the best from that country. IMO, he is one of the most underrated greats in boxing. The man would have beat terry norris and thomas hearns IMO.
