Did it piss any other brits of the time of the fight last night?,i know its because of HBO and all the politics and what not,but it was in britain and yet we had to seeminly play second fiddle to american tv.
Sorry dont want to start a flame war,but i was looking foward to seeing a good bill after i came home from the rugby yesterday i went to,and did not know i would have to sit up till near 2am to see it,seriously why could american tv not be made to go with our times??????
No doubt this will get me shit on now,but FFS it really annoyed the hell out of me,considering many americans dont or did not seem to think much of joe before, and just to show im not being biased here,i was and aint really a JC fan either, just thought the fight being in wales would mean the times would be normal fight times, felt sorry for the poor fuckers who went there and had to get home.

****** is the only european promotor who does this.

the klitchko fights in germany start at 9 to 10pm our time and american tv accomadates them.

good for joe with american exposure as i beleive but am not sure that HBO had A free hbo to all america weekensd to get people to subscribe ? and would guess the boxing figures would have been very good.

personally i think ****** should concentrate on his own market, namely the uk.

and airing it on setanta means it went unnocticed virtually in the uk today as well as the uk sunday newspapers cannot report it as it took place after printing time .

Totally agree ****** the tool likes to maximise his personal fortune, if that means more $$$ for a later start course Franky boy will oblige.

The time of the fight didn't bother me, half one isn't that late and there was quite a camraderie on ESB with the other Brits staying and getting pissed before the fight.

I don't see why they can't just fight at 9p.m over here and just watch the delayed replay over in the states, who gives a fuck if it isn't live?? aslong as no cunt ruins the result for you it won't make a difference.

always held this exact opinion.

look at how much the uk pays for the world cup tv rights , yet the matches still go ahead at 10 am on a monday morning uk time etc etc.
