Please vote not for the fighter that you would like to see Joe against most for subjective reasons, but for the fighter that you think would challenge Joe most/pose him most problems, have the highest chance of beating Joe and thus, a win against whom would cement and enhance Joe's legacy most, in his very next fight - Spring 2008...
...except for Mikkel Kessler, that is....
The names I put up in the poll are the ones who stood out most in an earlier thread:

nard hopkins.
i dont know why all the sudden people count him out against anybody, but yep bernard hopkins would.
Calzaghe wouldnt be able to hit him just like Winky couldnt and just like Tarver couldnt and De La Hoya and Trinidad etc...

Kessler would be the one!!! He will surely fight at least one fight before Joe, perhaps even two... and then he will posses the biggest treat to Joe;)

I'd really like to see the Hopkins fight. Joe's never fought anyone as good as Bernie is at his style. Joe would have to work him out. He's beaten two young up and coming guys who were undefeated and favourite to win, it's time to go after Hopkins who has a decent record/reputation.
I don't think Hopkins has fought anyone like Calzaghe for a number of years, possibly 15. It wouldn't be an explosive fight like Kessler, but it would be gritty and one for the purists.
Kessler and Dawson. A fight with Hopkins would not be close, whereas the other two would be. The Kessler fight already was, and I get the impression he would have a better chance of winning more rounds in another fight. Dawson has a fairly good chance, stylistically too.
Calzaghe is just all wrong for Hopkins. Expect a near shutout. B-Hop cannot keep up with Calzaghe's pace.

Dawson probably would. He's young, big, and hungry.
But I want him to fight Hopkins.

Dawson is at his peak. He has the speed, skills and power plus a distinct size advantage in height and reach that would pose serious problems for Calzaghe.

Dawson. Speed power skill, and a southpaw to boot. That saying he does have some chin issues. But i feel he has more in his game than the other fighters. If hopkins was 5 years younger then its a differnt story but as of now dawson.

B-HOP. He's an old fox, knows every trick in the game, one of the smartest fighters ever, is always in good shape, tough as nails and he can adapt to and ruin everyones style, also Calzaghes. That would be a great fight.
Dawson is just too unexperienced. Yes he's fast, but Calzaghe's fast too, and more clever, he would impose his fight on young Dawson and cruise to victory.

I think it would be fun to watch Calzaghe-Mundine.
Mundine in this matchup should be on stimulates to improve hes aggression when being hit and furthermure have a "Andrade" chin implant.
I just can`t wait for it!
