I thought Shane won by a point. Shane beat Cotto at his own game and the confidence and dominance of Cotto was nowhere to be seen. If Cotto is running by the 9th round of a fight, you know Shane did something right. I like Cotto a lot and even though I predicted a Mosley victory, I really just wanted to see a good fight where the best man won. I saw a good fight, but the best man didn't have his hand raised. A draw would have been fine too...but the fact that one of the judges had Cotto by two points when he ran durin the championship rounds...that blows my mind.

Mosley has never been "a jabber", everyone expected Cotto land cleaner left hooks (this is his main punch), and his off the rope fighting was pretty good...but why was he on the ropes? Because Mosely put him there.

The thing is everytime Mosley landed a big hook the commentators and everybody in the crowd went mad, Mosley's landed punches stuck in the mind more than Cotto's because of the vunerability of Cotto's chin but Cotto was actually out landing him with big shots about 2 to 1 but because Shane took them so well people just dissmissed them.

thanks for honesty.... i respect that, they just as surprise as the mosley team what cotto brought to the table, they expected a brawl... cotto tried but mosley grabbing and hugging led cotto to move and box and it was just pretty easy for him as he said after the fight...

After the last round ended, I was split 50/50 whether Cotto won, or it was a draw. I couldn't see giving it to Mosley though.
