What fights would you make for him, what order & why?

Miguel is most likely to face the winner of Margarito vs Willaims, particularly if it happens to be Antonio. After that, who would you go after & why?

If it were down to me, after his next fight, providing he wins, I'd look for a fight with Mosley or Hatton. I would try to wait a while before negotiating a deal for a possible bout with Mayweather. The longer Cotto keeps winning, if it's against top-notch fighters, then the more chance there's likely to be a contest with Floyd.

If Cotto keeps improving, being top calibre fighters, then at some point, Mayweather, being the person he is )he respects good fighters), will acknowledge this.

Like you said, if Margarito wins then Cotto-Marg is a done deal. If Williams wins, i think he should try for a Mosley fight before Shane decides to hang 'em up. After that, I would love Floyd to step up and take the fight, at that point it'd be the biggest fight in boxing.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There'd be more interest in a fight with either Margarito or Mosley, IMHO. Margarito-Cotto would have the classic Mexico vs Puerto Rico thing going, and Mayweather would have a hard time saying no to a fight with Cotto if Cotto were to beat Mosley.

I'd love to watch Cotto Mosley or Cotto DLH.

Margarito's next, but if I were his manager, I would keep him away from Mosely.

Margo-Williams winner and then Mosley-Mayweather winner. After that he becomes the best at 147 and the best fighter in the world. It's not a small ask but if he wants it, real greatness is there for the taking.

My first move would be to change my title from "mamager" to "manager".

1. Winner of Margarito/Williams
2. Kermit Cintron
3. Shane Mosley/Oscar De La Hoya
4. Ricky Hatton
5. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Bob Arum said he got the signed contract if Margo wins when asked about Floyd his reaction was never will happens main reason Floyd knows he will have to fight 12 hard rounds.

I'm not his manager so I couldn't care less who he faces in what order. I just want to see him fight the best available opponents. Margarito, Williams, Mayweather, Cintron, Mosley, Collazo and even Hatton if he moves back up.

1. Margo/Williams winner
2. Ricky Hatton (only if Hatton is still undefeated)
3. Probably his mandatory, some guy named Frederic Klose or Yuri Nuzhenko (he could use a tuneup)
4. PBF

The longer between fights for Mayweather, the worse the beating he is gonna get from Cotto. If he even has the balls !!!

take Margo then fight the winner of Mosely VS PBF

At this point, the only guy I'd make a favorite over Cotto would be PBF, and that's narrowly.

I'd put him in with any of the other guys if the money was right, then Floyd whenever Floyd wants to step up to the plate.

Jeezzzzusss

By the time Cotto reaches Floyd with this line up behind him Cotto would have turned into a canibal because of all the blood shed and would most likely eat floyd with a side of rice&beans in the ring....boxing Floyd would be secondary and not to advantageous.:p

I keep him away from Mayweather and Mosley until cleaning out the rest of the division.

If he beats everyone in that order and that's a big if he would probably solidify Hall status.

Ditto. And any talk of Hatton is dreamland. Cotto won't return to 40 and Hatton already learned his lesson at 47. That fight will never happen.
