OK this was done before with great success. The rules are simple - this thread is not a "discussion" or a "debate" it is simply a verhicle to express what ever you want about another fighter or the fight game.(whilst repecting the forum rules) Feel free to be a disrespectful as you want and honesty is the key. Pls dont be PC or diplomatic. And pls dont reply to my post because i think you are a piece of shit anyway.....

I don't understand how Americans can bag Europeans for not travelling outside their own country - but argue forcefully that Americans themselves shouldn't have to travel.

Ivan Calderon would beat Wladimir Klitschko by UD

Miguel Cotto will beat FMJ, defend against great opponents and go down as one of the best ATG's of our era. Pac is over rated by most on these boards, and his victories over an old Morales means sweet FA. Joe Calzaghe is being over rated after being under rated for a very long time, and would not cope with Dawson period. Paul Williams will go on to forge a good career, losing to the likes of Cotto, but beating almost all other contenders in exciting fights. Hatton is a good fighter, but VERY scrappy to watch. Juan Diaz will destroy any fighter 135 pounds or below. Malignaggi is pretty boring to watch, and is being over rated simply for not getting KTFO against Cotto. Bute is over rated and would get beaten by Mundine, and schooled by Kess and JC. Lacy is much better then people are giving credit for, and would give almost every bar Kess a world of hurt at 168 (including the over rated Pavlik). Pavlik will get thoroughly out boxed against someone with good defensive skills, and better handspeed.

Aaron Pryor, head to head, is one of the greatest fighters ever - perhaps the best ever at 140. But accomplishment-wise, he's not as great as some say.

Fuck YOU!

Actually, you fairly well summed up what I have to say. Hamed is my least favorite fighter.

Pac and Floyd huggers are the worst, but I dont know which ones take the cake. Depends on the week. If these two ever fought, I would ban myself from ESB for a good time.

James Toney and Prince Naseem Hamed are the two most overatted boxers ever.

Head to head I would pick Vitali Klitschko to beat a lot of Heavyweight greats. (Lewis not one of them)

Cotto vs. Margarito would be one of the most exciting fights ever, along wth Castillo vs. Corrales and Gatti vs. Ward.

Zelenoff by brutal KO.

James Toney is an ATG, but it's crazy for people to pick him over anyone ever at 160 (I've seriously seen people say a focused Lights Out beats everybody at 160).

Zeneloff should KO Napolean with a brutal right hand.

He'd probably kill me, on my trip to the orbit, with his 1/2 inch arms.

Know nothing Jim Lampley is almost as knowledgeable as Larry Merchant, so saying that boxing historian Al Bernstein knows more than him is not a shocking claim.

How's this then?

Many posters on ESB are more knowledgable than Merchant and Lampley.

Mystical P4P #1 is overrated. Ali would kick all their asses, it does not matter if he weighs more, he would still kick all their asses.

Al Bernstein looks like Einstein, especially if he lets his hair grow out more.

Jimmy Page is the most underrated of the overrated guitarists.

SugarShane_24

Pac is no. 2 P4P. Calzaghe doesn't deserve to be rated higher than he is. Pac has fought guys who reside at P4P 10 for a while now, JC hasn't even touched one. I repeat, not one.

Floyd will beat Hatton. I don't know how he would do it as Floyd can fight running away or laying on the ropes slipping and sliding punches. But if he doesn't, then Pac is no. 1 P4P.

Cotto stands a better chance of beating Floyd right now. But to be honest, I agree that the SSM that beat DLH would beat Cotto.

Margarito can give anyone at 147 a tough fight. But if he wants to get a huge payday, he should at least have a good win against another top welter. He should pursue a rematch with Cintron.

ivan Calderon could take a double career. He can be a sprinter when he doesn't have a fight scheduled.

Penalosa will beat De Leon much more convincingly the next time.
