Hmmm, my belief is that his timing is not at a high level....but his quickness and speed make up for it.

When both Soto and Guzman were the midst of an exchange, I found that Soto landed the much cleaner crisper shot, thats when you know who has the better timing.

I did like the fact that when he went to the ropes, Mayweather Sr's work has showed. Guzman did well on the ropes with the shoulder role and riding Soto's shots there.


I've only seen Guzman twice.....his fight with Soto, and prior with Barrios......and I think Guzman has improved from his fight with Barrios.

When his opponents don't have to worry about being KO, then they would walk through his punches. If he were a big time feather fisted he would probably had a different style. It is very difficult (not impossible) for a boxer without punch brawl and go inside and have the same success than those that have big punch. He would win fights but he would lose a bunch too.

Imagine Cotto being a feather fisted, same thing, he would win fights because he can box but he would have to work harder and go 12 rounds and try to avoid been hit because he might lose the fight by decission. Do you think that Cotto would have defeated Torres if he did not have power?

Study that line and memorize it. And let me break it down to you why it is a great hook since you do not seem to follow boxing enough. Watch his arc, he goes over the oppenets arm and fits it through right to the head without telegraphing it at all. I have seen him use this punch in multiple angles. So the oppenent is going to get hit with it regardless. Add to that he can hit to the face and then to the body, and right back to the face again - well, you have there a great right hook.

OK THANK no problem. I purposely did not write that PACMAN lost to Morales coz it's not an achievement. I was writing some of his achievement. About the ducking thing, sorry I'm was referring to the boxing fans for of the other boxers who says pacman is ducking the ______name of boxer if they are not choosen.
