HE can be Irish-American too.

Mine is John Duddy, he is a 20-0 middleweight, and in another year or two, he should be a serious contender.

Dave McCauley v Fidel Bassa was incredible..

Barry Mcguigan was awesome his fights with Eusebio Pedroza , Juan Laporte and Bernard Taylor were excellent..

Eamon Laughran was a good one too, his surprise Ko of Donovan Boucher was awesome..

Eamon Maghee was also tough as nails , he is still the only man to put Hatton on his ass..

Steve Collins is a celtic legend, he beat men he just wasn't supposed to.. true warrior..

Damien Kelly is an unheralded hero , he just has had a lot of bad luck.. He suffered the worse decision i ever saw.. He must be in the running..

God bless..

James Moore - Good kid, great set of skills, and humility to boot. Mark my words, you're gonna hear a lot more about him soon. He's fighting in the Bronx in a couple of weeks. I may attend.

Irish Joey Archer beat Huricane Carter and Dick Tiger, I thought he did enough to take Emile Griffith Middleweight crown but the Judges gave Emile the split, Billy Conn, Mickey Walker,Steve Collins, Jerry Quarry, Mickey Ward(nice guy)Jimmy Mclarnin

The question was who's your favorite and I'm not Irish myself so I really don't keep track of Irish fighters. I liked his hair back in the early 80's.

I dunno bro, i got a bad feeling...got some learning to do, put it that way. We'll see.

I like Billy Conn. Balls of steel and superb craic. Those are the two pre-requisites for a fighting Irishman, no?
