Yes, this fight should happen early next year as this is the logical course of action.

With Pacquiao moving up, Soto will become JMM's mandatory but that can wait. It will be much easier for this fight to get worked out as both are GBP fighters.

JMM has been a factor since featherweight, and now that he has beaten a bigger name in Barrera he has rises in popularity, where you like it or not its the truth. Guzman's first big fight was against Soto. Logicaly JMM is the name that would stand out in the fight's poster. But why would you argue this when Pacquiao is taking huge shares of purses and he doesn't have a belt. Its just spinning.
