Although he is a wreckless dumbass, I believe Mayorga has a lot more talent than he developed. If Mayorga is in any reasonable kind of shape, Vargas is going to have his hands full. I clearly recall the fight with Spinks where he was swinging wildly for 12 rounds and showed no signs of fatigue. It is hard to say whether he can do it again, but we do know that Spinks is an elusive target, Vargas is not.

Vargas doesn't look fat to me, he's in very good shape. Mayorga can be as ripped as he wants to but as I said before he just can't take a good shot as he used to and Vargas has the skills to make Mayorga look foolish. Vargas by KO in a very exciting fight.

Do you honestly think Mayorga has the power to knock Vargas out?, I'm a fan of Mayorga but do believe that his power is insanely overrated. Vargas might not have the best chin ever but still I just can't see those wild sloppy punches putting him in trouble at all.

Neither fighter is in top condition, both are carrying excess fat on their stomachs.

I want to see Mayorga bomb Vargas out. I am not sure how dedicated Mayorga is anymore and that is the reason why this one is very difficult to call. It will be a great fight.

Everybody keeps talking about how there is no reason for these guys to fight each other, they're washed up, neither of them will ever fight for a title again, etc. I believe both guys know this and that the winner can finally rest in peace knowing that although they weren't the best, they were great. This fight will give them peace of mind. I think even the loser of the fight will feel somehow complete knowing that they went out swinging.
