Serra injured his back and is out of the fight.
Hughes' 10th coronation now must be delayed.
FUCK.

You mean Serra?
Who hasn't fought in a while that would like the chance here: Kos maybe? I guess Fitch just fought a while back right? Damn this sucks.
GSP should fight him again with the winner getting Serra.

I am really getting tired of every other fight being called off due to injury. That includes Boxing and MMA. I am almost never excited about an upcoming fight, because I know there is AT LEAST a 50/50 chance that it never takes place.

Don't mind me, I am just complaining because I wanted to see that fight.

Or they can just give the shot to GSP and save him the hassle and Hughes the beating again

Man, people really selectively remeber Hughes vs Penn 2, "oh he was schooling him until the injury" well guess what, the only time Penn came close to ending that fight was after when everybody is guessing when the rib was injured. Not to mention that him getting injured probably had an awful lot to do with Hughes punching and elbowing him in the ribs, or the fact that winning the first 2 rounds of a 5 round fight is about the same as Vitali winning the first half of the fight before Lewis stopped him.

you must be a really big hughes fan, i dont wanna get side tracked, u started this thread about serra being injured, but you must be the only person, or one of a handfull that thinks hughes is better than penn and would beat him more often then not

The two are 1-1, with Hughes having a hands down better record.
BJ's biggest wins in the last 3 years are Pulver and Bang Ludwig.
BJ's a great fighter, but people act like he can fly and shoot laserbeams out of his eyes. He is 1-2 in his last 3 and 2-3 in his last 5.

on Penns record or Hughes being better than Penn?:yep

Both, Hughes has proven time and again his dominance against MUCH more fighters.
Jimmie are you kidding? Counter "argument" Hughes came in and whooped Penn's ass proving he's better. Try again.

So then, I guess Hughes "proved" he was better than GSP, as did Serra for that matter? Randleman also proved his dominance of CroCop, Randy proved his dominance of Chuck, Horn proved his dominance against Chuck, etc etc etc.

I guess it won't matter to some people though, Matt already beat him once, so there is nothing GSP can ever do to redeem that.:nut
