lou saverese what a warrior....

talent, no talent, shot or not shot

this guy is one of the most gritty and personable heavyweight boxers in the world today.

how would he have done against the equally tough as nails franz botha

i remember when botha was a world titlist for a short time before he was stripped by a shakey alligation to steriod use.

saverese was a very padded record who fell short against the more talented fighter but had enough raw strength and size to beat some contenders as well.

botha won the ibf title which was vacant against axel schultz which was disputed.... as was axels loss to george foreman.... and george foremans win to saverese.

i think this would be a great fight with both knocked down and both getting back up to finish.

Well Lou never had a World title but came close. I'd say Botha by SD.

Whoa.................

A prime Botha is very, very underrated. He would easily beat Savarese most likely by knocking him out.

Botha is no chump.

I pretty much don't care but for the heck of it, I think Botha takes it.

Botha > Schulz > Savarese

They all beat 45-year old Foreman.

:huhBotha > Schulz > Savarese

They all beat 45-year old Foreman.
:huhShultz lost to Foreman although I did have Shultz winning on my scorecard. Botha never beat Foreman or even fought Foreman but he did win a contraversial decision over Shultz and Saverese fight Foreman tough but came up short even on my card.
