View Full Version : Mayorga has a granite chin...It's a testament...
Mayorga showed his chin is made of the hardest rock, he took the hardest shots from a guy who is 26W-22KO!!!! I've never seen anyone take those kind of shots from Vargas without going down.
That is a Testament as to how powerful Oscar De La Hoya's and Trinidad's punches are!

I think the Tito fight left him damaged goods. No way he woulda been troubled by those De La Vulture shots before he got bashed up by Tito, when his chin was rock solid.

I remember thinking around the 5th that there was no way he'd make it the distance, and then he caught his second wind. Mayorga is one tough hombre.

Mayorga walked into a lefthook from DLH. When you walk into a punch it doubles the force of impact.

Yeah, Mayorga was walking into left hooks for six rounds, you figure he would change his game.

Any links for last night's fight?

Not yet. But it was very entertaining. Vargas had no legs and no chin but was able to make it very competitive and had he not been dropped in the 11th he would have won imo.
