According to news Stieglitz will square off against either Forch,Bute,Lacy,Inkin,or Braehmer in a eleminator fight for the right to challenge the present IBF title holder.
Kohl's matchmaker Nartz:"He wont fight Inkin or Braehmer"

Lucien Bute seesm to be the most likely opponent.

Bute vs Stieglitz? Your opinion?

Bute is already the mandatory to Berrio so why should he fight Stieglitz???

Though Stieglitz vs. Brähmer would be ok to me...

:patsch mate...It's LUCIAN BUTE!!!

Also, Lucian Bute is already the one who will take on Berrio for his IBF belt by September...Bute won the eliminator against Bika!

Where did you come up with this rubbish from?

And where have you been in the last couple of months?

To answer your question though...there's no doubt Bute would beat Stieglitz...

Uh! Not only did I write Bute's first name wrongly, but I have mixed him up with Forch as well.
Rubbish? Who knows for sure,mate!
According to the news Stieglitz seems to be on the way to another title shot.Kohl's matchmaker seems to be quite sure that he will soon face one of the aforementioned names in an eliminator fight.
I dont have access to sources at IBF-Kohl's matchmaker surely knows more than me.
Anyway!
Stieglitz vs Froch? Your opinion?

PS: We are talking about pro boxing. This piece of info may be outdated very quickly anyway.Nothing is for sure at the paid ranks.

By the way I would like to watch Bute against almost any opponent here in europe as he usually fights either in the USA or in Canada.I havent seen a single fight of him yet.

Bute might fight Berrio for the title in Bucharest in September. On the same ticket would be Dawson v. Diaconu. Let's see whether they can make it happen.

Froch KO Stieglitz

Yep! Now and then I buy either that German box mag or "Boxing Monthly".I stopped buying "The Ring" some years ago.Couldnt stand that biased American mag anymore.
But to be honest I usually read the news on fightnews.com or boxing.ru.

yes, instead of fighting Robert Stieglitz, Lucian Bute will fight the guy who KO'd Stieglitz in the 3rd round a few months back. Bute is going to take care of Berrio easily in my opinion, not that my opinion matters, seriously.

I,too, think that Bute wont have a lot of trouble with the one-dimensional and very predictable Columbian.
Stieglitz stopped Berrio in their first encounter.Berrio caught his better skilled foe with a lucky punch in their rematch.IMO Stieglitz has much more talent than Berrio, and should be able to come back in order to fight for a world title.
Berrio can punch, but apart from that he is a very mediocre boxer.

Did we see the same fight? I thought Berrio was doing pretty good for the entire 3 rounds the second fight lasted. He landed several good shots before he landed the punch that sent Stieglitz to queer street. You're talking like Stieglitz was dominating the fight or something which wasnt the case.

I don't think it was a lucky punch.

I had Stieglitz winning the first two rounds, but it was close and the main reason why I gave these rounds to Stieglitz was because I knew he had the "German" home advantage.;) Nobody dominated the fight.

Very over rated? I think he is the third best SMW...am I "very overrating him"? He did well enough against Bika and if he KOs Berrio, he will have a good claim to being Top 3...wouldn't you say?:think

BTW...there aren't many people outside of this forum and of Montreal/Canada/Romania that have even heard the name "Bute"...so overrated?...he is pretty much unknown.
