I think this will be a good fight, Bidenko does not have the power but he has been active, I like Alexander Povetkin by a stoppage in this one

Why not Povetkin vs Holyfield? Money and name recognition are both there.

I think that will be good fight. Bidenko is good boxer, but dont have advantage from notbody right know. He fighting for Universum and his state Ukraina is not concetratet on him, just in Klitschkos. Same problem have Virchis who shows exellent fights but nothing.
Povetkin is diferent story, he is good prospect and his manager Saurland belive on him, also he have suport from Russian state. He is doing good job fighting with old guys Donald, Bostice and the others. He dont need to fight Bidenko, why to risk , he is doing well and preapers for big battles and big names, i think that he will fight like this till his 20 bout after will attempt world champion belt.

Povetkin has gone on beyond the bidenko level, it seems, taking such a fight would constitute a step backwards for his career. Apart from the fact there´s zero chance of it coming off, except if Povetkin held a title

I'm not sure if Holyfield's management would want that. I think they want to steer him to a title shot fighting rather easy opponents.
Then again, they also matched him up with Byrd and Donald who were terrible matchups so maybe there are stupid enough..
By the way, does anyone know why the Barret fight was called off? I think this would still be a good fight for Povetkin.

Virchis for sure is much better known in the Ukraine than Bidenko.
Virchis is the reigning european title holder, and Virchis has fought quite often on native soil.Of couse he isnt as popular as the Klitschko brothers, but he is quite known among Ukranian sport fans.
Anyway! It doesnt really matter whether he is know in his native Ukraine or not! Povetkin wont fight him anyway!
Bidenko is totally unknown outside the circle of us hardcore fans.Besides Povetkin would win either by late stoppage or by point decision against Bidenko. There are better opponents out there for Povetkin.Well, better known opponents.Lets put it this way!

i´d pick povetkin. bidenko had a real hard time with mazikin, who was 9-0 at the time. and bidenko only won a majority decision.
and povetkin is a diffrent kettle of fish to mazikin.
so yes, povetkin wins ......by UD or even late stoppage.
