Now as much as I hate to stick up for Mayweather, to those people who say he has never unified the titles, didn't he beat Judah for the IBF then beat Baldomir for the WBC?

I may be wrong, was he stripped of the IBF belt before facing Baldomir?

He also beat Corrales when he was a beltholder.

To be technical, Chico had just been stripped of the IBF belt before he fought Mayweather.

They were considered by nearly everyone the top 2 130 lb. fighters though.

And Gatti beat 1 of Mayweathers rival beltholders in Dorin who whooped the other title holder in Spadafora. Yet PBF avoided Spad right?

baldomir refused to pay the IBF sanction fees or pension plan fees so when baldomir beat judah, judah remained ibf champ.

I would ve done the same thing. The fucking saction fees are robbing fighters of their hard earned money.

How much do the sanctioning bodies charge approximately?

True, everybody knows that Floyd was the truth at 130...

But technically he has never held multiple belts at one time.

He beat Judah for the IBF and IBO belts

Floyd never UNIFIED or faced the all the top comp in any class.

The opportunity to get both is in front of him at 47 and could possibly be accomplished in two fights. Beat the best there and put and end on the specualtion.

Baldomir and his camp couldn't afford to pay the IBF or WBA sanctioning fees. If he had, the major 147 titles might not have been separated by the time Mayweather fought Baldo. Mayweather vacated the IBF title because they wanted him to Mark Suarez (I think) as his mandatory when he was chasing DLH and Mosely last year before ultimately settling on Baldomir.

Floyd hasn't held multiple belts simultaneously; however, the ABCs are anything but credible these days, and he's clearly been the man in three divisions. The unification thing only comes up when people are reaching at straws to discredit him. Some people make the most inane arguments when they're worked up over something. Shit, before Margarito lost to WIlliams, I remember a of his supporters on this site claiming that Tony was the real champ at 147 because his impressive string of defenses as the WBO champ was supposedly more impressive than unification of the belts and lineage.

I think it varies the the size of the boxer's purse and the location.

When Baldomir fought Judah, he would had to pay 10K for each title out of a $100 thousand purse (before taxes, fees, and expenses), so his people opted only to pay for the WBC title because he was their mandatory.

Another twisted generalization:-(

I picked Williams:good

Margarito fans still feel how they feel:yep

How about the REALITY that Floyd never faced the top comp in any weight class, REAGRDLESS of titles.:verysad

Like I said, 47 is the opportunity to erase the criticism.

But like always, PBF fans will argue reasons against it. Most of them TRULY dont want to see Floyd tested. One loss and the Floyd fan base will be cut in half:hey

For being such a "balla" he won't pay the sactioning fees which would bring clarity to the division:think You can't always blame the Big 4 sanctioning bodies sure they due silly shit sometimes but the due administer justice sometimes. For example the IBF demanded an immediate rematch of PBF with Judah after their fight for obvious reasons and he opted or cowered out of the fight so he was stripped. Their are many other good examples of sanctioning bodies doing the "right" thing their mainly know for doing the wrong thing. However in the case of PBF this does tell us something: That PBF is an overated arrogant cocksucker thats has been brought up by HBO and DLH only to handpick or avoid dangerous fighters. He's not close to being the best welter and he won't ever be because he's a gutless faggot. His resume is short and weak, 3 top fighters all far from their prime WoW. I think he's a better dancer:good Cheers

Actually Baldo wouldnt pay the fees so they let Judah retain the belt.

I thought he was mentioned by Leonard Ellerbe and Roger Mayweather as a six time World Champion at five weight Divisions so if you count Corrales', you can't count Judah's welter title or Floyd's handlers are doing maths mistakes. And how come Zab didn't lose his IBF Welter version to Baldomir but to Floyd Mayweather, now he can lose titles in fractions?

He beat Baldo for the WW title.

Where Rog's is WRONG? 140, Hatton, not Mayweather was CHAMP.
Floyd was titlelist.
