Rafael Marquez TKO10 Israel Vazquez

I think he is just the more complete fighter...his jab was busting Vazquez up last fight and I think it will this fight.

Marquez fades in later rounds thats when Vazquez is gonna take him out with a huge right uppercut to the jaw.

I think Rafael Marquez wins by TKO in round 8. I admit I haven't seen much from Vasquez but from what I have seen I don't think he can pull it off. I personally wasn't impressed with his victory over Jhonny at all, and I don't think he has what it takes the beat Marquez this time around either.

I think its gonna be a great fight though and I wouldn't be disapointed if it goes either way. Both are cool guys in my book. :thumbsup

Marquez wins again.
I really would've put money on Vazquez if he had kept Freddy in his corner.. shame he broke with one of the best trainers alive today.

man, its driving me nuts that I spelled Rafas name wrong! :patsch

anyway, I agree, with most. I think Marquez takes it again. Mid to late stoppage. Marquez's jab was taking care of business in the last fight. It'll do the same this time around.

Rafa has the tighter, more crisp combinations...but damn, you just cant count Vazquez out of a fight

I would like to see a rematch as long as it is without such stupid quotes as, "I would die in the ring than lose"(or something to this nature). Anyway, Marquez takes it as well, probably by a Tko. As someone already stated, he is just a more complete fighter.

The Boxing fans because they're sure to put on an excellent show. Provided there are no fight altering cuts, I just can't call it. Vazquez hit Marquez with some pretty good stuff last time around in the round before he retired.

Marquez by late TKO.

Rafa is technically superior than Vazquez and that hard ass jab was busting him up good. Marquez knows very well that he will get dropped if he takes too many chances in the inside so he will keep that jab and straight right going to brake down Vazquez again. It will not be that one sided the entire fight by any means, Vazquez is gonna make changes in his strategy so that their battle doesn't stay on the outside.

Great fight.:good

Thats what im saying, if it wasnt for the broken nose Vazquez would have went on to KD Marquez a few more times.

You people are forgetting the Vazquez knocked Marquez down in that fight, and landed some giant shots in the last rought before he quit., so these landslide predictions for Marquez are not really justified

I thin MArquez is gonna win again, but if Vasquez wins...we will have a trilogy!:good

Vazquez was the one to say that on the week of the fight and for him just to quit on his stool with something as common place in boxing as a broken nose... well it dissapointed me to a great extent.

Vazquez has shown so much heart on so many occasions that I believe that he simply couldnt breathe. Cant do anything about that, you cant fight through pain without oxygen.

Thats what I think happened, his nose was very swelled up on the outside so it must have tightened his breathing tracks and he kept being hit with that jab so who knows if he was also having serious headaches with each blow.

Izzy has a lot of heart and if he had to go out like that then it had to be serious.

Vazquez finished the fight strong eventhough he retired on his stool. I like Vasquez to win the rematch. He seemed to hurt Marquez everytime he landed. And he had a big round before he was stopped.

My prediction Vazquez TKO in 8. Which leads us to Marquez/Vasquez III

I want Vasquez to win, a bigger fan of him, than Marquez who I also love.

And anyhow, if Vasquez wins, we win, because as stated, it'll make for a trilogy!

One thing to remember: once a fighter goes to the place where they quit on their stool, it starts getting easier and easier to go back. Look at Freitas.
