“I think he (Floyd) is an insecure person and I think that’s why he surrounds himself with 5 or 6 bodyguards who all seem to be yes men. He always need people whispering in his ear, ‘you’re the man, you’re number one, you’re gonna do this and you’re gonna do that,’ it’s all a sign of insecurity! You don’t need anybody whispering in your ear to tell you that you’re the best. If you believe that you are the best then you don’t need anybody reminding you in your ear, that’s the way I feel. I think he is an insecure person and I think he does like to play mind games. I don’t think he does it to try and intimidate you because he needs to look in the mirror because he is not what you call intimidating looking with his nice suits on and his bling. It doesn’t exactly want to make me run straight away. I think what he tries to do is get under your skin and annoy you; it’s more to annoy you than to scare you. But he must surely know when he sees me and he looks at me that I am not scared of him. He knows I believe I can win and he knows I have no fear of him. I think during the promotional tour when he saw he got no reaction from me that it affected him more than it affected me. It’s like water off a ducks back to me, it doesn’t matter what he says or what insults he throws at me, I could not care less.”
