far out just tracked down some pics etc of the guy and he's a giant also. good to see they are leaving no stone unturned and getting the right style of fighter to spar. i have a good feeling about this one.

Alexander Gurov is no mug either.
He is a solid fringe contender at Cruiserweight, & is slightly taller than Drews.
He was competitive early against Jean-Marc Mormeck, but was completely destroyed by the powerful David Haye in round 1, in a simply stunning Haye display.
Those are the 2 matches i have seen of him.

Im sure that couldnt have hurt his prep either, plus a big boxer like Amman would have been good prep.

Either way it wont be easy for him so any advantage he can get is good.

Iam not sure mate but Danny did say that if Paul could get his body right he would be a hard fight for anyone:good
Unfortunatley he had a nightmare run with injuries and he isn't sure his body could stand up to the rigors of full time training.

I'VE heard that chris John will not be defending his title on Dannys card because he couldn't find a top 15 fighter who would come to Australia:fire
However their very close to signing Jackson Asiku vs matt Powell for the comonwealth title which would be a great fight lets hope they can these two in the ring.
