My vote goes to Peter's savage clubbing of Jeremy Williams. Keep in mind it was a true career-ender.

The sound on this vid doesn't do it justice, unfortunately. The impact of Peter's fist sounded truly sickening.

The soundtrack on this one is fucking retarded, but it shows the KO from a couple different angles.

Yet to many here, Peter's power is nil and vastly overrated.

I still say there isn't a HW out there that would have made it through that punch. Period.

He did land that punch, or one very close to it on Wlad when they fought (I think it was near the end of the third round) and Wlad shook it off pretty well.

He did land that punch, or one very close to it on Wlad when they fought (I think it was near the end of the third round) and Wlad shook it off pretty well. If you watch the punch in slow motion, you could see Peter got his whole body into that punch creating the devastating knockout. He landed nothing like that on Wlad, most of Peters best shots were grazing punches. He got a couple decent shots in on Wlad, but nothing like the one that caught Williams.

I watched the Williams KO again, and your right. Peter was actually in the process of turning around, as Williams had gotten behind him, so he got all that torque into it. The punch he got on Wlad was a big left hook, to be sure (sure enough to dispel Wlad's "chin" stigma) but you're right, it wasn't near the ferocity of the one that put Williams down.

Darnell Wilson's Friday Night Fight decapitation of Nwoodo for me -
[Only registered and activated users can see links] I watched that fight live, the thing about that knockout was I seen it coming. He had Nwoodo hurt against the ropes and unloading on him, and I knew it was only a matter of time before he got hit with something big. As far as the Sam Peter fight, he hit Williams with a punch no one seen coming. I feel both were great knockouts, But the Peter punch wasnt set up with anything, it was a real one hitter quitter.:yep

I agree Peter's was a more "One punch KO" perfection - But I think Darnell's was more brutal for the punches that turned the fight around from the end of the 10th onward.
That left hook made Nwodoo's legs crumple together like I haven't seen since Tyson Frazier...

With the exception of Jameel McCline, James Toney, Robert Hawkins, Wladimir Klitschko, Jovo Pudar, Charles Shufford, and Marion Wilson. Other than that, he's a KO machine.
My vote goes to Lebedev's extremely brutal ko of Berry Butler. Most brutal ko I have ever seen live at the pros or amateurs.
A pity that Lebedev hasnt continued his pro career due to personal problems. This guy has really pop in his fists!

Nwodo was badly staggered way before in the round where the KO happened...just a matter of time when one of Ding's swinging shots would have landed. AA was far more suprising as it happened and the way it did.
Donaire's shot to glory was pretty suprising but not as devasting as the above mentioned...

Sebastian Sylvester KOs Javier Castillejo
maybe not the most brutal KO, but still a pretty brutal one.
The thing is even if that punch didn't look that hard, it was right on the chin and perfectly timed, and set up with the jab - Castillejo lay on the canvas for nearly 10 minutes, it was scary. People tought he was seriously hurt. This was all the more surprising as Sylvester isn't known as a big puncher and Castillejos chin is/was very good - it's been tested many times before and always withstood.
