True, I have heard, from some of my friends that speak better spanish than me, that his translations weren't always that great.

Here is my translation, which should correlate to aillmatic's in the other thread:
LM: "Do you want a rematch?"
JMM: "I think so, I am willing, I am willing, I feel that I won this fight, its a tie-breaker because its not a rematch, we had a draw but I feel I won this fight."
Torres' translation: "I don't feel I need a rematch because I feel I won this fight, but if we need to do it again I feel I won it, lets do it." :rofl

Sure, this is exactly what JMM wanted. To wait until 4 years later, with his skills and speed, fastly eroding. Also to give Pac, a chance to develop his skills and get some more championship experience against some of the best in the world. Why in the hell would he want to do that?:patsch

His translation during the Morales interview after the 3rd fight with Pacquiao ended was horrendous.
I felt bad for EM as he had said some cool stuff.

or
"I believe that I do but I won; but still, I believe that I do."

You're just as bad as Torres:lol:
Here's an exact translation for those who still give a crap:
Merchant: Do you want a rematch?
Torres: Quieres una revancha? -------(exact translation)
JMM: Yo creo que si, estoy dispuesto, Yo creo que esta pelea yo la gane,.....este....un desenpate, porque no hay revancha...empatamos, pero siento que yo gane la pelea...
Exact Translation: I believe so, I am willing, I believe that I won this fight,..... eh...a tie-breaker, why not a rematch.......we tied, but I feel I won the fight........:deal
No difference just mine is more to the point

The fact that Johnco is still harping on this issure goes to show me that he's trying to convince himself of Pac's chances come March 15th!:yep
.....theres a simple reason why many Pac fans continue to slander and speak derogatorily of JMM....simply its because they dont take kindly of the schooling that Pac recieved.
.....its certainly should'nt be because a rematch did'nt take place right away....
.....if you really think about it, that fact that Pac did'nt rematch JMM right away is the best thing that could have happened to him in his career. It lead to three multi-million dollar fights with Erik Morales to which now define Manny Pacquiao.....three fights that otherwise may not have happened had JMM propinated another schooling right away!
Pac fans should'nt hate on JMM, they should be thankful that his team had the mindset to not snatch up a first offer right away and chose to negotiate.......in essence, JMM's team demand for negotiations is what cost them the fight and led Pac to Morales.
Pac hardcores should say a prayer of thanks every night that Nacho Beristein wanted a dialogue of negotiations with Bob Arum and was refused.

Msg noted.
JMM should likewise be thankful to PACMAN coz he is the lucky/choosen one coz in a FEW months. JMM will probably get his BIGGEST Pay CHECK of his ENTIRE BOXING career!!!!
It's going to be much much bigger than the 30k he got from Chris John:lol: :hi:

LIKEWISE FOR PACMAN:hi:
it would probably lead to a bigger purse in Juan or Joan and possibly DLH... JMM is just unfinished business and he'd get just a little more than he is getting in his last fights.
