This would be a good fight to watch in 2008. After watching Alex box and feeling the vibe of his supporters I would like the opportunity to be able to attend such a venue.

wont happen.
I now know what alot of heart means...Nathan was OTM 5 to 6 times during the eight rounds. I actually thought is was all over in the fourth after Nathan was ko'd in the end of the round, due to a twit that was acting like a gorilla from one of Elises Samoan's supporters sitting behind me.
I had never witnessed a boxer get up so many times and keep boxing like Nathan did...he regained his focus in the fifth and delivered a great combo in the end of the round but Elise was the better fighter on the night and took home the belt.
BUT let me tell you that the Samoan elders better keep an eye on their young supporters in the future nights of boxing for Elise & respect a good night of boxing in the ring and not on the outside!

Be a good match up i have heard they are talking Sydney or Gold Coast but i think it all depends on how he goes with Col Wilson if there is any problems with Solo it will comne out Col is a tough son of a gun this is the first southpaw he has face and Col does not give a f#*%& he just comes to have a go .

Its interesting to note that everytime you ride Big Col off he pulls through he has been a great stepping stone for any upcoming heavyweights to see if they can fight and a lot have come unstuck as well as a few old timers that have underestimated him just to name a few ,Wills,Cervi,Fortune,Thunder,Izonrietei,Briggs,Leapai and it crazy to think that for a lot of these Col was at the pub the night before!

Gee it's funny reading back on things from a while ago.
The Gorilla I was talking about, I found out was Alex's brother. At Alex's next fight aginst Kirby the brother was very respectful as was all the family. I spoke with him after the fight and told him I was impressed with the change of attitude and control of his alcohol intake.
All good in the name of Aussie boxing :good
Oh yeah and I see Elomar is going to do his time, gotta love when respect comes first...
