He is actually growing on me. He adds a lot of comedy to the HBO team, he is almost a spoof of boxing analysts. Sure he's like Kermit the frog high on red bull, but why not just laugh at him? His analysis aint actually that bad and he made Hatton-Mayweather fight happen, so fair enough to the guy.

I'm a big Max fan - followed him from ESPN's Friday Night Fight - to Fox Sportnet - to HBO. I think the kid is great and has a fond knowledge when it come to Boxing. I think his eyes are stretched open - like he's on coke or something - but he's great a what he does.

He's a great addition to HBO's BAD & WCB. I don't see him taking Jim's place - but he was damn near closet to taking Larry's place. If any of the Boxer would like to hit an analyst - trust me - it would be Larry Merchant first - or that prick from Showtime. They are both horrible when interviewing - but entertaining as commentators.
