Opinions?

I think he's had a great career and should retire now that he's still winning and still has his health.

I always think he should retire, but the man has fought his way on to a level of respectibility. I still think it'll end in a nasty KO loss which is why I want him to pack it up now, but I'm certain he'll keep going and my opinion doesn't really matter to him! ;)

If the man wants to fight who are we to tell him otherwise? I do feel though he could be capable of going all the way.

Every time I say Holy should retire,he comes back with a class performance like last Sat. night.
I say he should retire, which guarantees he won't.

I'm not telling him to retire, it's his own choice to fight and i'd be lying if i said i didn't enjoy or didn't care for his fights.

It's just my opinion that all things considered, it would be better for him to retire.

He is about to get a title shot, why the hell should he retire now? He could have retired when he lost to Larry Donald, now it would be dumb to retire.

I couldn't have given half a shit when he began his comeback... but now 4 wins into it i think he's got well more than half a chance and with his win on the weekend i'm now jumping on the Holyfield bandwagon.

He's achieved all he needs to, but if he gets it again, even in this weaker era of heavies, he'll still add another reason why he will go down as one of the greats. Good on 'im!

I say he should retire, which guarantees he won't.but not against a class opponnent! Means about as much as beating Audley Harrison!

Holyfield is on such borrowed time and he doesn't really get it...he is gonna get terribly exposed when he steps up in class. He is fighting handpicked guys who are brought in to make him look good.

When he starts fighting younger guys who are much more active and much bigger and more athletic, he is going to look like the old shot fighter that he looked like against Larry Donald and James Toney.

Holy is surely the greatest warrior of all.His desire and heart is relentless. No matter what happens he ALWAYS defies the odds.Id rather see him retire as his cleary seen better days but has enough to beat c-b level fighters. As son as he gets in the ring with an A plus fighter its lights out and i dont want to see him end up like a cabbage..

he should go back in time and retire after the second lewis fight.

when his career ends, it wont be pretty. and im not just talking about his last fight.

He isnt going to hang them up after dominating his last four fights, two by knock out in all 4 of his recent fights he has dropped all of his opponents, when is the last time you have seen Evander drop four opponents in a row? When is the last time you have seen him drop a man that is 6'5 and at 240?
Holyfield looks like he has been telling the truth about his injurys, some say Golota might be his next fight, Evander will destroy him as well, Golota is weak mentally, he will quit.
Go Holyfield!

As long as holy is training serious and getting better from each fight - then why the hell stop fighting. Holy don't give a shit about his age, reputation - he just want to fight and see how fare he is going to get. His dream is an another world titel, maybe he will succede. I think it's cool - holy is a warrior and has always been. Age don't change that. Let the man do his business. By the way, don't underestimate holy's changes in a titel fight, he has a very solid chin and a punchers chance. Go grand pap - GO.

By the way Golota don't stand a change against holy. He shouldn't waist he time fighting Golota.

I think he would beat Oleg but unfortunately he is far behind Peter, Vitali and Oliver McCall in the queue for the shot. Though I think McCall/Holyfield would be a good fight, with the winner getting the WBC shot. I can't believe this fight never happened in the 90s, it would be an interesting gap to see filled in history.

I think that Chagaev and Ibragimov are probably just a little too young and fresh for Holyfield to beat at this point, but I'd love to be proven wrong as Holyfield is my favourite active Heavyweight at the moment.
