Cunningham does not want to fight Mormeck. He has to fight Huck anyway.
According to Netboxe, Mormeck's forum etc. Mormeck had called the IBF champ out but it won't happen.
Mormeck had already mentionned Haye as his second option and it seems Don King and Frank Maloney have a deal ! As Mormeck vs Bell 2 the fight would take place in the "Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan" of Levallois.
The initial date was september 28th but Canal+ and Balkany (mayor of Levallois) would prefer the fight to be a bit postponed. In fact they want to wait for the end of the rugby World Cup.

I can see the weight problems having an effect on Haye, and him being stopped around the 10th round, as Mormeck forces the pace throughout

I don't know if Mormeck is able to stop someone in the 10th round at this stage of his career. He had 4 or 5 good rounds in the tank for Bell 1 , 8 good rounds in the tank for Bell 2 but that's all.

Mormeck began to fade against bell late didnt he? Cant see him forcing any sort f frantic pace. If Maloney and King have a deal I believe the fight will be in the UK. Unless King has given Frank a nice BIG wedge to step aside.

Canal+ will broadcast the fight and they are rich enough to have the fight in France... Of course they would have prefered Tiozzo vs Mormeck but Mormeck said NO to Tiozzo with a "OK....but obtain the WBO belt first." !
Haye vs Mormeck will be a bit more difficult to sell but it should also sell well. King took a promoting license in France to work with Canal+, he wants to conquer the Acaries market (Acaries business is almost dead, 0 titleholder, 0 promising prospect...) and Mormeck is his only french boxer anyway.

Mormeck had no choice but to fight Haye or get stripped though, did he? Cant Canal + televise fights from the UK?
How many poeple do you think will attend the fight live?

This fight would be AWESOME. Haye by KO!!!
I'd look into going. Be great if a huge group of us went and flew the British flag then got smashed in Paris.
How much is the Eurostar? Surely no more than a usual night out anyway.

I hope and think that Haye will win, but i do worry about how much it will drain him to make the crusier limit again.
I hope he looks sensational like he has done in last few fights and sparks out Haye in a couple.
On the location front, i think Mormeck would prefer it in France, though think it would make more money in the UK, as Haye has a good following in the UK.

4000. If the fight is in Bercy it will be 16000.
And the prices for the rematch Bell vs Mormeck 2 were really low :
RING VIP 108 £
RING 74 £
TRIBUNE 47 £
GRADINS NON NUMEROTE 24 £
The purses were based on Canal+ €€€. A ring seat for 74£ it was cheap. To watch the boxing stars (DLH etc.) it is MUCH more expensive.
As Haye seems to be big in the UK, his fans could be interested and the prices could be higher, no Bell fan came to support him (I don't know if this guy has fans in fact). Mormeck is not very famous and the prices for Bell vs Mormeck 2 were low to attract the public.

good job his last two bouts were against mormeck like guys. i think he really needed that experience. two guys who wanted to fight. however as you saw one got put away early and the other eventually. haye can straight punch. now he can box a bit too and that is what makes a difference.

i still say he struggled a little too much against those guys to convince me he can beat mormeck.
he's always got a chance with his punch i suppose.
but me head says mormeck.

108 £ (160€) vere for the VIP seats, the normal ringside seats were 74 £ (110€). If Haye is big and if many fans from the UK are interested the prices will be much higher.
I don't know what will be the undercard and if Maloney will send his boxers. King had sent 0 boxer to generate €€€. The undercard was honest though with decent french boxers like Canclaux, Chebah but it was not a great undercard.

Struggles a little too much? He spanked Bonin in a couple of mins up at HW. Fraggomeni was a good operator, and I think, as previously said, he went away from that fight with a lot of experience, especially with the cut etc...
Ive no doubt Haye has the ability and power to win, whether he will is another matter of course.

Mormeck gassed against a limited Bell, I'd say Haye has a chance.

Haye himself feels he's only at 70% of his best fightin form at cruiser, but is still think he takes this fight by late stoppage.

Yep. Around £100ish. I went to the fight. To be honest the seats were rubbish as they were obstructed by the ringpost and a cameraman.
The arena was very small so any seat would have given you a great view.

Yes it's a small arena but Mormeck was the guy who had to sell the tickets, Bell had 0 fan. Things will be different if Haye can bring fans from the UK. It could be in Bercy and it is a big arena (4 times bigger than the arena "marcel cerdan"). Wait & see...
