I was watching some middle weight boxing in the 40's. The Zale vs Graziano series was perhaps the most brutal trilogy in the history of the ring.

Cerdan vs Zale was a ring classic, and LaMotta of course was tough as nails.

The middle weights used to be such a good division. The best fought the best, and all the fights were great.
