When PBF fought DLH I said the jab would be crucial to Oscars victory
and well I was right, you all saw what happened.
Now for the Hatton vs PBF fight this is what will determine the winner!how much space is between Hatton and PBF for the twelve rounds, if PBF can create space Hatton has no chance. Hatton has to cut off the ring and be on PBF for twelve rounds. The crucial point then will be, can Hatton get in without getting cut to ribbons. Thats it. A question of spacing and not getting countered on the way in. Hatton can win if he can overcome these two.

no doubt. Hatton's entire defence relies on smothering punches. And his entire offence is based on hooks and uppercuts which are close range punches. If this fight stays off the ropes and Floyd controls the distance, Hatton is cooked.

Watch how Hatton will use a suprisingly effective JAB saturday, he won't use it THAT much, but i think we will all be suprised at his use of the jab.

Floyd has a massive 9" reach advantage.

I doubt Hatton will use an effective jab , but if he does then good call.

well whatever it takes for him to get in without getting his face ripped open......I doubt Ricks jab plays any part except to throw one once in a while to keep PBF honest while trying to bore in just throwing and banging and mauling PBF with his entire body. Throwing nonstop for 12
thats whta it will take to eke out a close decision.

Hatton's short arms and lack of an effective jab are the reasons why he will lose this fight. You can not beat an elite slick defensive counter-puncher without a jab period.:deal

Yea, PBF took the jab away, Oscar didn't stop throwing it like everyone is saying.
dude, Oscar is shot. He was flat footed the entire time. He stopped throwing the jab cause he gassed and it was losing its snap
