Monte Barrett Taking on Cliff Couser

Nice tune-up fight for Monte. Doesn't look like it's on tv though.

I'd love to see Barrett take on Povetkin in the fall here in the states. I'm one that things Barrett may still have something left, he just has to be motivated and let his hands go. Povetkin/Barrett would make a nice HBO co-feature.

I think Barrett would be a good entry level fight into the top heavies for Povetkin, yes.

Barrett should outbox, and maybe even TKO Couser.

I'm glad Barrett's taking a relatively easy fight for once. The last few years, he's just been fighting every six months or year, every time against a top prospect or contender. I think he needs to take a sort of confidence-builder like this and get himself feeling strong and hungry again if he wants to make one more run at the big time.
