View Full Version : Stjepan Bozic vs Lolenga Mock
Croatia's best supermiddle weight figher Bozic(19-3) is scheduled to face Danish based African roughouse Lolenga Mock(27-10) in Croatia on august the 2nd.
Bozic seemed to be on the point of signing a contract with German promoter Sauerland when he lost a split decision to feather fisted Georgian Gogiya.
He then lost to Sauerland's supermiddle Vitaly Tsypko who stopped Bozic within two rounds.
As for Mock since he lost a one sided fight by point decision to Lucian Bute he has won two fights against decent opposition, against Mezaache and Djelini.
Both fighters are not in the limelight.Thats for sure.
The winner of this fight may be able to get some better paydays.A quite interesting fight between two fighters on the same level.
Could go either way IMO.
Mock has been looking good after signing with Team Palle. He's not world class as Lucian Bute showed in their fight, but on european level he's a good fighter. I admit that I haven't seen Bozic fight but judging by his record he doesn't look like anything special.
Mock should be able to win the fight, the question is if he'll get robbed in Croatia like he did in Germany.

Croatia was always carry cot of boxing talents. Most of them was champions in the former Yugosllavia and lot of them wins also in the profesional.

Did Mock get robbed in Germany? I have only seen Mock's encounter with Dziarra and Kurzawa.
Mock vs Kurzawa was a horrible fight, but Kurzawa won that fight fair and square. No robbery at all.And as for Dziarra vs Mock neither fighter showed a convincing performance, but Mock won that fight.

Anyone saw the fight? Is it a fair decision?

NO idea, maxime! I havent seen that fight.
Fair decison? Why do you ask, maxime?
The African is a decent fighter, but no outstanding fighter in his weight division.
Bozic isnt an outstanding fighter either, but thats why their encounter seemed to be that interesting. Both are more or less on the same level-seemed to be a well balanced match.

According to Team Palle who is behind Mock, he displayed a lousy effort, and on their webpage they don't make any complaints. They write that Bozic was nothing special, but it wasn't Mocks day.

I was asking because Mock as his fair share of close and or controversial decisions that went the other way.
