If ever a fighter was a good fit for "atlas abuse" it is jeff lacy.

The intensity/desire/focus/motivation seems to have gone with his undefeated record. Perhaps Atlas could rekindle the soul that once occupied his now hollow, talented carcass.

They've both been Calzaghe'd... It's not their faults.

Atlas has fucked up every guy he ever trained, he's last thing they need. Remember Michael Grant? There's a reason no one will hire Atlas past 8 years or so, cause he sucks as a trainer. He is always putting out rumors that he is wanted, and then starts rumor that he turned job down due to charactor.

I think that's unfair...with the right kind of fighter, I think Atlas can work very effectively.

Problem is when he's not with a properly compatible fighter, it can be a disaster. With Grant being a great example.

Atlas is not a good pro trainer, when are people going to stop believing an HBO documentary and actually look at his track record and watch the fights in full?

:good

He doesnt even score the fights on ESPN, he turns to Brian Adams, his assistant and asks him how he felt.

He's shit for predicting fights.

And as a commentator, he repeats the same things over and over. If I have to hear about dark shadowy places one more time on a Friday night I'm gonna hang myself.

Not to mention, his son is a prick, and Teddy Sr. talked me out of betting 5 grand on Pavlik to win by KO.

Fucker cost me way too much money to support him in any way shape or form.

so does manfredo. two fighters lacking confidence.

Manfredo didn't look like he lacked confidence. He looked like how he always looks, and Steward was taliking out of his ass. He was poorly conditioned, and nowhere in good enough shape to take the fight. If he has more energy, the fight was ripe for the picking, but he was winded the entire fight starting about halfway through round 4.

Please don't let there be any support of Atlas getting back into cornerwork, lest he stumble upon it in his daily self-google and get some ideas! :scaredas:

Let him stick to his repetitive Wednesday and Friday mumbling where he's relatively harmless. :good
