Hey Jnr,
Just a couple of questions
Firstly, do you call yourself a Aussie, Kiwi, or Islander? (tongan/Samoan)
How do you think you'd go against Kiwi's
Steve Heremaia and Daniel McKinnon?
thanks Jnr.

steve was in my new zealand team at the oceanias in 2004.
i do rate him but not at my weight. he should be fighting welterweight because of his height. as for daniel mikinnon i havent seen him fight though i think i will beat him due to his losses against a few aussie guys.
for your question as what would i say i am. i was born in new zealand, my parents are samoan. i came to australia at the age of 2. i love my country and i love my hometown (cronulla) so i would say i am a new zealand born aussie for life..............................
My father in law is my manager though im looking for a promoter..
any suggestions anyone????????

thanks for answering my questions.
I agree, i think Steve should be fighting at Light-Middle at the very most. He's a dangerous fighter.
McKinnon has a WBO Oriental Super-Middleweight fight against Kerry Palmer here in auckland this weekend.
Fair enough regarding which country you call home.

Probably not an ideal situation to be promoted by a QLD based promoter since you have built up a following here but Angelo Di Carlo seems to be the best promoter in the country by far.
He prides his shows on trying to make the match ups as competitive as possible and looks after all his fighters.

If your with Angelo Hyder then u are going to get the most exposure possible.
With all those tv dates, plus plenty of overseas options always arising.

Angelo Hyder/Jeff Fenech do more than half the fox shows. Upwards of 10 a year.
All the rest your Murray Thomson's, Angelo Di Carlo(Ace Boxing) & Jamie Myer only do up to 2 shows a year.
Besides Fox there is no other telecasts of boxing into houses, besides the Green & Mundine PPV's.

Im saying Hyder would be the best pick around at the moment.
More likely to get on fox with his 5-10 shows a year that get broadcasted.
Hes given Sonny Michael Angelo top billing lately so you would be a shoein for some decent cash plus main event of the evening status.
Im surprised you havent fought on t.v much before.
Some of the bums we have to watch on fox is a insult.

Imports also aint easy to bring over with such little money to be shared.:deal

I fully understand that mate, but surely they can find blokes to put on the card with better records then 2-14-1 and struggle to even throw a jab..Its a televised card for godsake.
I understand the money issues and the fact that Oz doesnt have the largest field of active pro's but we dont have too many Televised cards so surely filling atleast 6 semi decent bouts aint that hard.
People wonder why boxing doesnt take off in Oz,how is the common joe going to become interested in the fightgame when they see Shannon Taylor's beating up thai cabbies or to pub bum heavyweights who are not conditioned and lack any skill.
I rather watch 5 or so decent fights then 8 of the standard we are seeing at the moment.
Just feel like having a rant:twisted:
Also completely off topic, did John hopahopeless win on the Mundine card?
And was it against the fella who previously beat him??

I agree tho mate, the Mundine card was an absolute joke filled with mismatches.
But what do u expect with Mundine's handlers not offering 1 cent to the undercard.;)
I suggest u check out this fridays fox sports card featuring Geale vs Dawson & Danny Green's world title fight this weekend.
Both cards are much better coz the undercards will actually get paid.:yep

Yeah mate i have seen the cards and there quality.
Thats what we want to see.Cant wait,i got geale by 8th round stoppage.Accumalation of accurate punches.
Mate Mundines gone past being a joke. His whole set up is ridiculous. From his Punch drunk or just plain drunk dad,his straight from the gutter outside Aurburn mosque manager and then the mouth himself.
I quess when the World chump is fighting argey taxi drivers we cant expect his undercards to bring much punch with it.
Its disgusting.

Shame they cant schedule it for OKtober then :tong
Fighting germans is risky though. The german stables churn out very technical fighters with great defense, very little offense but excellent counterpunching ability. Good thing is, like the yanks germans are big fight fans and any exposure (especially if you impress) is good.

Mate dont go to Germany.I would stay well clear of there especially when you have a few options around oz/asia as mentioned.
Only time i would be considering a european based bout is if the cash was too good to refuse.
Also mate, alot of your fights go to the cards and winning a decision in Germany inparticular can be a as hard as nailing a nun.
Obviously its only my opinion..
Wouldnt mind watching your next bout, but Germany is a little far aint it??lol.

Have sent you a PM regarding my Next NZ Show.
Yes Marco I'am a promoter in NZ. In regards to Cameron, news is he'll be fighting again in February possibly depending on how his cuts have healed up. Shane has said he wants to step straight back in with a Top 50 guy, but wether thats wise is another story.
